  • Amazing Mouse
I bought this mouse thinking it was able to go completely wireless, and I was mistaken. However after griping a bit and kicking myself for not reading things carefully I decided to use the mouse and see what it was like. After using this mouse now for close to a year I can say that it is one of the best mice I have used. I The scroll wheel is not cumbersome, the grips on the side are pretty good, and I have not had any issue with my clicks registering. The lighting effects are pretty good as well. The mouse does not have flaws, but the software that shipped does not mesh well with the rest of my system. Sometimes the lighting can get thrown off a bit, and I will have to re-sync it all back up and it is good to go. Overall the mouse has not disappointed me. I am receiving points in the ROG Elite Rewards loyalty program for my review ... show more

  • UPDATE - BURNING UP AFTER 9 MONTHS WITH COMPUTER TURNED OFF
Asus Gladius II Mouse filled my office with smoke and fumes at 3 a.m. Thought there was a house fire. Opened my office door and immediately smelled and saw smoke coming from the mouse. Bought it August 20, 2020 and it's now May 28, 2021. Part of bottom of mouse was melted where cord enters the mouse and plug-in cord connector was melted where it plugs into the mouse. Hope it's under warranty. I think I was less than an hour away from a house fire. ... show more

  • Good ergos, but software support is lacking.
I liked the feel of this mouse, but found the ROG Armoury software to be a step behind. It comes across as primitive and seems to be lacking the polish of much of their competition. Furthermore, most of the settings don't stay with the mouse if you move it to another machine. I switch my mouse between both my work and home machines and don't have the ability to install drivers on the latter, so this was a deal breaker for me. Someone who doesn't have this requirement might find this to be a perfectly-designed mouse, but I just couldn't make it fit in my setup. I did love the physical design, down to the maze-like texture on the grip panels that I only wish I could get elsewhere, and it broke my heart to send it back. If Asus catches up on the software/firmware front, they'll be a force to reckon with in the mouse world. ... show more

  • A beast for a mouse
Love everything about this mouse very responsive no lag. Now, imo this is not a deal breaker but the sniper button could have been a little higher than were it is, because it is exactly were i put my thumb and keep pressing while at extreme pressure The 3 profiles works for me. Have it slow, medium, and fast response. Interchangeable wires is cool just incase you break it you can remove and replace. And the aura sync is a must with a all ROG set up. Luv it. ... show more

  • Great mouse, controlling rgb can be a pain with 2 different softwares
Works great and sensitivity is amazing. Fyi it requires armory software to do settings for the mouse and also control rgb. When active you cannot use asus aura to control it. You must disable armory if you wish to sync with aura. The armory software is also the only one with the "wave" effect which is the rainbow running around the mouse. ... show more

  • i really truly like this mouse
i really truly like this mouse, but the firmware out the box was great, but a short month or so later experienced a weird button mix-up with an update, fixed that and all seemed well. Was all great after that until now where the rubber on the sides of the mouse are coming off, super glue should do the trick but come on, it's been only like 5 months. ... show more

  • 100x Better than Logitech.
Much better than the Logitech hero. No double clicking issue.

  • Started off with great hopes.
great lights, but not much of a gaming mouse. Bought it on the advice of a magazine that gave it a kick ass recommendation. Not designed well for the hand. It would fire when I did not plan to pull the trigger. the mouse is not robust and broke in one month of service. Wow. The ASUS light software does not sync up with the ASUS motherboard or anything else ASUS. What is up with that????? OK. I do not recommend this mouse. I have owned many ASUS video cards, mobos, other items. This is my first mouse. Glad I did not spend the $300 on the keyboard. Modified review-the mouse "broke" at an end of a game late at night. Went to bed. Started up the PC and re-ran the software. The mouse works fine now. Still not that happy with the fit in the hand. Before hitting the bed, ordered a replacement mouse from Amazon - Corsair. Sorry ASUS. Do better next time. ... show more
