Great all around card, absolutely no issues on medium settings 3440x1440 Fortnite. I got this card for around the same money as a 3070 in mid-2022. In fact, this 4070 is a lot cheaper then. Speaking of the 3070, I upgraded my GPU from the 3070. Noticeable improvements and greater stability than my 3070. It does get slightly loud when playing graphic intensive games, but it isn't deafening! The style will look great in any build and will perform extremely well for 1440p and/or 1080p. Temps aren't bad either, when playing GTA V or Fortnite, it gets warm at around 51C-53C consistently it rarely gets higher than 55C. In conclusion, this is a good value despite others saying it isn't. It truly depends on what your coming from. From a 10-series or 20-series it is definitely a great card to future-proof your PC for years. And it shouldn't break your bank!

I was replacing a dual set of GTX980 running on a 5th gen i5 system. That system ran great for the games I generally play (Valheim, Magic Arena, Lord of the Rings online), but Fortnite was showing growing pains with every update. It took at least 1-2 matches for the game to not glitch/stall mid action causing lots of premature losses (as opposed to my natural loss record). This card should future proof me for a while once I replace the AGING mobo/cpu combo, which is the real bottle neck now. Fortnite doesn't suffer remotely the same issues now. Running the latest nVidia drivers this was a little drop in and work situation. GPU are stupid expensive now, so I hate the barrier to entry. It's one I wouldn't have been able to break 20 years ago. My guess is hardcore 4K gamers might prefer to spend 2X+ for their GPUs but for us mere mortal gamers, this card is nice. It's not as quiet as I had expected, but I haven't attempted to flip the switch for lower power-less noise to see if that would decrease the performance more than I'd like - again, the CPU is the bottleneck, so it's likely fine.

I bought an HP Victus 15L after Christmas. It had a GTX 1660 Super graphics card, and only a 500-Watt power supply. I wanted to upgrade my GPU, so I looked at an RTX-3070, which uses all the power that my power supply has and produces a lot of heat. Remember that I am in a very small case with little ventilation. It is also several years old and costs almost as much as the RTX-4070. I can now run games at Ultra settings at very high frame rates. Game RTX-1660 SUPER RTX-4070 Shadow of the tomb raider average 108 fps high settings average 157 fps Ultra settings Horizon Zero Dawn average 74 fps Ultra settings average 146 fps Ultra settings Red Dead Redemption 2 average 75 fps high settings average 85 fps Ultra settings Rise of the tomb raider Overall 52 fps Ultra Overall 192 fps Ultra These are real recorded numbers from running the built-in benchmarks at 1080p. I can also game all day and not overheat or have any problems with heat or noise. I am extremely pleased that I ordered the ASUS Dual RTX-4070, because it fit within the HP Victus case, that the power requirements are much less that any of the older cards that I could have used, and it performs a lot better than the last generation of GPU's. Also, with the continuous updates, the performance just keeps getting better. The ASUS Dual RTX-0470 has allowed me to play games that I thought a "low end" pc that was "not upgradable" as some reviewers have said, would be slow at low settings. With the GPU upgrade, I can run any title at ULTRA settings, and not have any problems. The ASUS RTX-4070 has been the best upgrade that I have done to my pc.

I personally LOVE this card. I initially ordered an AMD6800xt card, which did NOT fit in my liquid cooled case, so I had to return it. I was really bummed, but found that this 4700 card was a smaller form - and performs as well as a 3080 with nearly HALF of the power draw! I put it in my workstation, and I immediately noticed a difference coming from a GTX 1660 TI (6GB). Exporting video from Adobe Premiere took 1/3rd of the time it used to, rendering 12k images from Blender went ridiculously faster, and I even booted up Cyberpunk which looks AMAZING compared to the old video card. Most criticisms of this card by reviewers is that they consider it comparable to the Radeon 3800, but what they are missing is this card uses 1/2 the power of the 3800, and it does overperform the 3800 slightly. Considering that I don't have the space for a full-sized 3800 ( or 6800XT for that matter ), the 4700 fits, and I don't need to upgrade the power supply on my workstation, which is always a HUGE plus! So - this card is a win-win.

Bought this to upgrade my 4060Ti 8GB - BIG Improvement. Is it worth the price? Meh - probably not, but it performs better than expected. It is a very noticeable difference. it is QUIET and sips power - only 1- 8 Pin PCI power cable needed. 12GB VRAM, 2 fans and serious OC potential. idles around 30C, maxed D4 @ 1440p and reaches around 55C. CyberPunk hitting a little over 60C, easily steady 60fps DLSS is big bonus - doubling FPS to 120+ at minimum. Just as long as the MOBO, so it does cover up the SATA ports (still accessible, but install those before installing this. Everyone has been so down on this card, but I think its awesome. The price is definitely an OUCH, but you get what you pay for. Recommended - especially on a sale/discount

I'll keep this simple: The RTX 4070 Super is the ultimate 1440p gaming GPU. If 1440p gaming is what you're looking to do, then you will never need any other GPU. Even with ray-tracing and path-tracing, it consistently scores high frame rates and produces great results. This specific Asus Dual fan model runs nice and quiet, and has yet to top 65 degrees, even under heavy loads. It isn't utterly massive, and should easily fit in most cases. I upgraded from a GTX 1060 to this, and truly, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
