Arrived looking brand new. I’ve had Chromebooks in the past, but I have always been disappointed and would tend to keep my distance due to lack of speed, storage, screen vibrance, and overall lack of responsiveness. This Chromebook, however, changed that. It’s super snappy quick with the Intel i3 and 8GB of RAM. It has plenty of storage, so I can finally use the Linux feature. I downloaded the Linux version of Firefox and it ACTUALLY loads. I can play games on it smoothly like Minecraft and other Android games with no issues. (I believe this Chromebook actually supports Steam, but I haven’t tested it.) The battery life has been great. The touchscreen is super responsive, however a little awkward since the screen doesn’t fold all the way back, but it’s there if needed which is nice. It also has an amazing backlit keyboard. I love typing on it. The trackpad is also smooth and plenty large enough. The build material feels really nice and It’s got a nice weight to it, but also nothing crazy. It just feels premium for a Chromebook, if that makes sense. I’m very glad I got this and at such a good price! ... show more

yes- the shipment included the 128 gb micro sd card, but the model of computer that came did not have a slot to insert the card. Google indicates that some models may ship with the slot. Other than that, a wonderful chrome book. Has the HMDI port I needed to hook the computer up to the TV.

Received my refurbished Chromebook CX5, and it would not power up. It had a defective charger out of the box. I plugged in my USB-C charger from the old ASUS Chromebook and it booted right up. I also tried the original charger on my old Chromebook and it was not charging my old Chromebook. I called Asus support, and they told me the warranty had expired? Hmm. USB-C chargers for these are available on Amazon for under $20, so I'm going to get a replacement. Overall the Chromebook is in great shape otherwise. ... show more
