  • Great Laptop
Capacity: 64GB DDR4 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Love the large screen, robust graphic support, works fantastic. The only knock is it really should have more USB ports.

  • Great computer
Capacity: 64GB DDR5 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX
Perfect for what I got it for with the large screen it has. What I also like is the 64 REM it has. Much faster than my previous Asus.

  • Such an improvement over the ASUS ROG G703
Capacity: 64GB DDR4 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. Such an improvement over the ASUS ROG G703. It is lighter, quieter, only uses one power supply. Great graphics, very fast. We purchased it with 2TB SSD and 64GB of memory. It's been easily handling any game we've thrown at it.

  • Solid performance with minor keyboard flaws
Capacity: 64GB DDR4 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Got this computer back in March 2022 to replace another laptop I used for game dev purposes, got the 64GB RAM version. Mind you, I've not had a situation where I've needed this much RAM, so the 32GB would've sufficed. As for performance, this machine is solid for a variety of high-end functionalities, including high-graphics gaming. I also use it for music creation alongside standard computer operations, and it handles everything without a hitch. If you're looking for high overall quality, this computer will not disappoint in that department. There are two minor flaws about this computer I've not been able to resolve with the computer itself. The main one is the keyboard; it feels like not all inputs get acknowledged with casual operation and may require more pressure to get keyboard inputs to be recognized. Of course, using an external keyboard will get around this situation. The second one is that the wireless card feels rather sluggish to acknowledge networks. At one point it outright stopped working wirelessly until a multitude of Windows updates were cycled a few times. I could likely put the fault on Windows for that one, though the responsiveness of the wireless card is a minor inconvenience. Overall, it's a solid computer that can handle most high-end tasks without much of a problem, though the minor flaws mentioned can be a slight nuisance when you need to be fully accurate with keyboard inputs. ... show more

  • Good laptop for the money
Capacity: 8GB DDR4 | 512GB SSD Style: TUF
This laptop is been pretty good to me I love the screen even though it is not 144 Hz but it is bright and crisp and clear with zero pixel issues. I don’t do graphics so the colors are fine for me. Battery life for regular browsing has been OK it lasts a few hours but make sure you have your charger handy especially if you’re going to run games or anything that will tax the cpu or gpu. It runs on built in video for normal tasks and then switches to the dedicated graphics card for more intense graphic situations. It has a built in program with some presets for usage or you can customize your own to help keep things cool and under control. I do use a cooler pad basically to lift it off of whatever surface I’m using it on although I don’t always have the fans on the cooler pad running. This is especially true when using it on the bed or anything that’s not a hard surface. It doesn’t run too hot or loud unless you are really pushing graphic programs or games. I’ve only owned it for a few months I am very happy with my purchase and I’ve had zero issues with this asus tuf 17.3 laptop. It does everything I’ve asked it to and more without complaining. ... show more

  • Let me tell you a story about customer service and motherboards.
Capacity: 64GB DDR4 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
I had purchased the high end $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop. It was great, really great. Fast forward 14 months and that $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop died while in use. Dark. Cold. Lifeless. During my dismay I shipped ($80ish) the computer to have it reviewed for repair or replacement. The ASUS laptop computers are sent to a third party for returns. They informed me that the standard warranty on my $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop was only good for a year (12 months from purchase), but they'd be happy to take a look and see if they could do something. After several weeks I received an email stating the motherboard had failed and it would cost just shy of $3000 to repair my $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop. I was redismayed. I asked questions. Come to find out, it didn't matter that the manufacure warranty on my $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop had expired, their motherboards aren't covered by their warranty. Motherboards aren't covered. Three quarters of the laptop cost isn't covered. Not covered. Their motherboards not but not their guarantee. It's a $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop paperweight sitting in my closet. That was my 5th ASUS ROG gaming laptop in 14 years, and by far the most expensive. This one, the one I'm blathering about another ASUS product on, is my 6th. Less than half the price, and quality to match. I bought the 2 year extended full warranty, including motherboard, for about an additional 15% of the cost of the laptop. I was desperate, a little college broke, and I needed things man. Anyway, we have the internet, we have choices, lots and lots of choices, so customer services drastically outweighs product availability in this day and age. ASUS had a repeat, would-be-lifelong customer until my $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptop's motherboard wasn't good enough for the manufacturer to put under warranty. It makes me question the quality of the rest of their products. This computer, my 6th ROG, is the last thing I will ever buy from ASUS because they don't trust the motherboards on their $4000+ ASUS ROG gaming laptops enough to back them by warranty. Caveat emptor. ... show more

  • Ok I didn't even know it had a touch screen...oh wait, that is because it does not have one
Capacity: 64GB DDR4 | 2TB SSD Style: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
I never touch my screen, so that wasn't an issue. I purchased with this product a full-size keyboard, a gaming mouse, and a 36-inch monitor for when I sit at my desk, but I love having a laptop for its portability. I am a big fan of ASUS and can't say enough good things about it, my last laptop lasted more than 10 years and saw some real wear and tear. My Desktop PC, also an ASUS has been with me for several moves and almost a decade. I have nothing but high expectations of this new box and hope it has the longevity as the ones previously owned. The picture quality is great, sound could be louder, but it is crisp and clear. Fast processors, even with a slow internet connection. I love how the new 17 inch model is smaller and lighter than my older model. ... show more
