First, let's be realistic. A $93 laptop is not an Macbook Pro, and I didn't expect that. But the problem is that there is so little memory installed, that the preinstalled software that runs windows uses 100% of the CPU. 100% of the time. Right now I have one window open for Firefox, and the CPU is running at 100%. It's totally worth it to spend $100 more and get a decent operating system. Stay away from this one. ... show more

This thing is slow! First off it's not windows 10 but windows 11. Now if that update happened when my nephew started the laptop I'm not sure. If you keep up with the latest on tech, then you know windows 11 has...issues.... We ran the task manager and the CPU was maxed because the computer was running everything! Opening a bunch of crap for no reason. So if your computers lagging open the task manager and disable the stuff you don't need. Restart your computer, open the task manager again (give it time for basic startup as the process for the start up maxed it but then it should go down). Hopefully then you laptop will be running better. From here they advertise this as a 2.80ghz but, and it's not necessarily a lie but not quite the truth. It's a n4500 processor that's capable of 2.80ghz but averages at 1.10ghz. in their description they say it's a different Celeron processor, the one in the laptop is newer but still a slow one. Now I've personally have never bought a laptop or Chromebook that doesn't have vents on it. So my assumption was "oh, guess it doesn't get that hot" well while helping my nephew with it i noticed it did indeed get pretty hot. Honestly this thing should have vents. I also noticed in the advertising pics and video they never once show the bottom of this laptop, not once. Overall assessment: disappointed and regret. But if you're looking for something basic it would work, am I going to point you to look elsewhere. Yes. Yes I am. For a bit more you can get something better that'll run smoother. But if that bit more is too much more, welp this thing works technically. ... show more
