  • 4 In 1 Chin-Dip Assisted Machine: Owning a GMWD TX01 Chin/Dip Assist machine is like having multiple workout stations in a single: Pull up Assist station / Chin station / Dip station / Core trainer / Ideal for cramped quarters because of its small footprint(18.54 sq ft). TX01 will start building your muscle-defining journey. When done properly, helps men create a "V-shape" physique.
  • Why You Need Chin/Dip Assist?: What is the perfect exercise for training the upper body? Without a doubt: Chin-ups and Dips. Chin-ups work the back and biceps while dips work the chest, shoulders, and triceps. But unfortunately, most people can't perform more than even a few reps while using their own body weight. GMWD pull-up station will help you with this! Loading weight on it acts to counterbalance your body weight thus allowing for a full range of motion and repetitions.
  • 1:1 Ratio Counterweight System: Maybe you like the weight stack assist system, but the cost. GMWD Chin-ups provide the 1:1 ratio counterweight system, accurate your training weights. To this, we have added a band peg design to add your training modes. Compared to the weight stack, GMWD chin-ups are more cost-effective!
  • Triangular Stable StructureSafety is always our priority, 11 gauge steel, 3mm thick metal ensures stability and solid construction. Also, we offer 6 triangular structure designs for the whole assisted machine. Which can support the intended load or forces without wobbling or collapsing.

  • Great bodyweight machine for newbies and pros
Style: pull up machine
I never really liked pull up assist bands so I had been on the lookout for an assisted pull up machine for quite some time and ideally one that wouldn't break the bank. I was happy to find this machine and since it let's you add your own plates, it kept the cost low. But this is not a cheap machine at all. The construction is very solid and it will hold up to many years of use. The counterweight mechanism on this works very uniformly unlike pull up bands which reduce the support as you pull up higher. For me this mechanism works better. Also this works very effectively for assisted dips, which has been my other problem area. Both pull ups and dips are two fundamental body weight exercises and I am glad that I found a machine that can help me gain proficiency in these two exercises. Only con I could think of was the install instructions are very minimal and it's easy to make mistakes if you don't pay attention to the notes in each step. I had to redo a few steps and this can get frustrating especially if you take longer to realize your mistake. But once fully assembled this machine handles like a tank. Also very pleased with the customer service of the company. I had a question about assembling one of the parts and they went over the installation details with me patiently and promptly. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Instruction are terrible.
Style: pull up machine
Gave it a 4 for instructions. So there is a difference in the first couple of steps on how you assemble the tower and base together. There is a front and back for the base and a left and right for the tower. Make sure your pin hole for the locking mechanism matches up. As others have said really sturdy and does squeak a bit. Other than that, works as advertised. they use so much tape on the hardware packages, that takes almost an hour to get all the pieces out. Should last a very long time. ... show more

  • Great for the money.
Style: pull up machine
I was able to assemble the unit alone. Just took my time. It went up in 41/2 hrs. It's solid and easy to level the unit to my basement floor. Instructions were good in general but I would add the cross base before the upright specifically if assembling alone. I will let you know how well it works after a couple uses. ... show more

  • Great pull up assist - with great instructions
Style: pull up machine
This is a great pull up assist machine that was very easy to assemble. Written instructions are great, but the video instructions on Amazon are truly the best - plus every part comes in a bag with the part number marked on the bag. One thing incorrect in the instructions is where the main bushing goes - but that is intuitive as only one hole on the machine will fit it, and it's the only logical place for the bushing. However, this is a VERY heavy machine. You will need two people to move some parts and assemble certain sections. Comes in two boxes. One of them is about eight foot long, and I'm guessing weighs around 150 lbs. Both boxes require two people to move them. I highly recommend the machine if you want a pull up assist. Great price - excellent engineering. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT QUALITY , AWESOME PRICE
Style: pull up machine
Very heavy duty. Not filmsy. Came in two boxes. Think one box weighed 80 pounds. There are like 16 steps to put together. Parts clearly marked. ( think step six has typo for which bolt to use but easy enough to figure out. ). This is very easy to assemble and it is an incredible machine that is sturdy and well designed. Took less than three hours to assemble. ... show more

  • This arrived re-packaged/used
Style: pull up machine
When I went to open the boxes, there was no set-up manual, everything was opened and inside was a collection of random workout machine parts. The pieces make no sense.

  • Solid parts, with a few hiccups during assembly
Style: pull up machine
My wife and I just finished assembling it. It does take 2 people to keep the components balanced and be able insert and align the various bolts ans screws. The parts are solidly built. The instructions provided are sufficient but prior experience assembling similar machines makes them much easier to digest. It helps to have a set of sockets and a battery operated ratchet. There was one instance when the instructions asked for a specific carriage bolt to be used when no such bolt was provided. Instead, we used 2 spare carriage bolts from among those that were provided. Another instance called for using large washers when all the provided large washers had already been used in previous stages of assembly. So, we had to supply ourselves with two large washers (luckily, we found 2 at home that fit). Once fully assembled, the machine felt solid. After assembly, the pivoting part that counterbalances the weights had a small amount of friction. I tried loosening the bolts that hold the pivoting axle, but that made no difference. I will try spraying WD 40 on the sides of the pivoting axle that come in contact with the frame. I used the machine for a short exercise session and it did what it was designed to do. 10 days later: the friction on the axles that pivot has gotten worse. There are 3 axles: 2 smaller ones and one large one. I disassembled the axles one at a time, extracted them, greased them and reinserted back in place (this required lots of wiggling and 2 pairs of hands). The source of friction seems to be the large axle as it had visible friction marks. My advice is to grease the axles as you are initially assembling the machine since it's a lot simpler than doing what I just did. ... show more

  • Gets the job done!
Style: pull up machine
Allows me to get pull-ups back into my workout. At 56 pull-ups are a different challenge than they were at 26. For one, I am weaker, for two, I am heavier. This machine allows me to get pull-ups back into my workout. It forces great form as well! On the negative ledger, I have to shim it to prevent rocking (on a level floor). Also, I had a weld failure due to poor quality. I leaned on the weight rack bar and it fell off. I would still recommend this though because the end result is good. I have a few imperfections too and I want five stars. ;) ... show more
