The Good: - extremely detailed enthusiast board with seemingly endless configuration options - top of the line features for futureproofing at an " " "Affordable" " " entry point to AM5 socket - tons of features (OC, EXPO, storage, fan profiles etccccc) - solid hardware compatibility (high speed DDR5, mass storage interfaces, PCI-E 5) - good looking piece of hardware, high build quality and attention to detail The Bad: - Bios UI is... unforgiving, at least having never owned an ASRock board - you will reminisce about MSI's bios interface then remember the AM5 MSI reviews - you will be visiting the Bios a LOT to get the most out of your system - while in the Bios you will realize this is the real OS you were always meant to be using all along - you will visit Amazon.com from the Bios just to review this board - the color isn't really white, its more silver for the heatsinks and like a weird matte white backplate The Ugly: My experience and expectations from this product: Migrated old Win10 install with all data from an older Z390 Intel system. It both worked without a Bios update, and a fresh Bios was already available from ASRock by the time I received the item. Aside from minor self-induced setup hick-ups the motherboard has been an absolute beast seamlessly handling all of my old data and combination of old and new hardware. Given this is an X870 board I have high expectations for AM5 and PCI-E 5 compatibility and expect to upgrade the CPU and GPU a few years down the line.

This motherboard has so many features, and being a 870e you cant go wrong with this motherboard. ASROCK, hit this one out of the park. Best value ever! will post more when I have all my components for this. Hoping Noctua , Crucial and Amd will sponsor my build. So we will see.

Works great! Allows me to hit my max boost clock on my 9950x3d and just worked straight out of the box. Looks really sleek and was a pleasure to build with. Was worried that the EATX form factor wouldn't fit in my case, but in reality, it's only .9 inches over a standard ATX, so it fit perfectly in my H9 Flow. Edit: Died after 2 days. Just a black screen then a 00 code. No burnt pins or burn marks on my CPU, board just up and died. This is the second am5 board that has straight up died in less than a month. I'm very disappointed and hope to return for a full refund or I will be charging back on my debit card.

A fantastic Motherboard. Coming from ASUS it felt like fell out from heaven. The Bios is way better and everything worked on the first power on and making a few basic adjustments for the memory frequency in the Bios. I can't recommend it enough. I've tested it with both Windows 11 and openSUSE, CachyOS and others. All worked perfectly.

Well, boys, I finally got this coveted mobo AND the 9800x3d (at MSRP). I'm like super old...like pushing 40 old. I've built tons of PCs over the years for myself, family, and friends. I have to say that this has been the most stable build I have pieced together thus far. But to be fair, it's usually a RAM issue, not necessarily the board. Speaking of stable, this thing has a super solid backplate. I mean, this thing could be used against a home invader as a shield AND a weapon. The whole cosmic color scheme they used, well, the pics don't do it justice. It's a shame that most of it will be covered for most builds. If you can get this at MSRP (or pretty close), go ahead and get it. You won't be disappointed. At this price point, you won't find a better/more feature packed board. I guarantee that. Put it on my momma or whatever the kids say. Oh and speaking of RAM, I went with F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR. Don't forget to enable the EXPO profile in the BIOS! Cheers!
