My young grandson expressed an interest in learning to play the guitar. The likelihood that he will practice and stick with is quite small, so I didn't want to spend much money, but at the same time wanted to get something that he would see as a real guitar, not a toy. This Asmuse instrument fills the bill well. It is on the low end of what you would call "full size" - by my measurement 37.5 inches. You can see in the pictures the size comparison to a 41 inch guitar. Obviously, the body is a fair amount smaller, so you can't expect a deep, rich tone. For a young child, I think it is a good starter and won't require a big adjustment when he is ready to move up to a larger guitar. It comes with a case, tuner, capo, strap, and music stand.

I purchased this guitar for my 6-year-old nephew for his birthday. He was beyond excited. Its little big for him for he will grow up to be in no time. It comes with Gig bag which is a plus and is perfect gift for new beginners.

It's difficult to pick on this pun intended! At first sight you’d almost want to call this a toy but it is a full size guitar. It is very lightweight, you would not want to drop or bang any guitar but this feels like it would shatter. You could say it’s for beginners but those are the ones that are the hardest on equipment so I would not trust this with a beginner. It will likely sit gathering dust. Maybe can find some unusual sound effects to make with it to make it worthwhile. Overall I will recommend looking for something a bit more solid.

This is a good starter set for beginners. The guitar isn't really top of the line, but it sounds okay. It comes with various accessories such as picks, cover, tuner, and a strap. It has everything you need except a stand. The guitar is cheaply made, but after tuning it up, it doesn't sound awful. I doubt you'll want to use it in recording sessions. Again, this is made mostly for beginners and people that can't afford the regular prices. Great for kids too. I think it's decent, and will work for me. I'm not much of a guitar player, but I'm learning. I think this starter guitar and accessories will have me on my way.

I was not really expecting much from this kit, but it surprised me. About the only thing not so great with this kit was the bag. It's really cheap, just good enough to keep dust off it. However the guitar itself sounds really good. The neck has a nice quality feel to it. The body though is a bit on the thin side, wouldn't take much to crack it if you're not careful with it. Strings seem fine and was easy to tune with the provided tuner. It's a great size to learn on. Overall great starter kit for beginners. Worth the buy.
