Asics are usually my go-to brand for running shoes because of the neutral fit. I've generally had the Gel Nimbus models, but I tried these out based on reviews in Runners World. I am in love with these shoes. My longest run this year had only been 5 1/2 miles. These shoes felt so good, had so much support, that I went out and ran 7.2 miles in these shoes the first time I wore them. The support in the heel is more than any other shoe I've tried, and the angled toe box has helped shave off a minute per mile. I would 100% recommend these to anyone with neutral arches and need the extra support in the heel.

This shoe fits my narrow heel, high arch, and wide forefoot well. In some other brands I have had to add insoles with arch support. In regular shoes I wear a women's size 8. To get the shoe about a thumbs width from the end of my toes, I sized up a full size, to a size 9. If you like the feeling of your toes being closer to the end of the shoe, size up 1/2 size. The shoe was a little odd to me in the beginning because of the rocker, but I quickly fell in love with it. The cushion is good, and the strings stay when you pull them up, locking the foot down nicely in the shoe. The tongue and heel wrap are well padded so there is no heel slippage, rub, or pain on the top of the foot. I use them for long runs, easy distance runs, and tempo runs. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I have worn both the Nimbus and the Cumulus in past years and I think this is the best shoe Asics has come out with in forever.

I have two pairs of the original glideride shoes and I love them. Sadly my toes started poking through the material and it’s time to get a new pair. I thought these would be the same amazing shoe, I was wrong. These are terrible. There is no arch support or any support at all. My ankles just roll. Walking in them made my feet numb and my hips are killing me. I thought they were okay when using them for a short time in the house but boy was I wrong. One walk is all it took to know I was way wrong. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

These ASICS are just what I needed after wearing a boot for a broken foot. The arch support and stiff toe box offer comfort and stability. I now have 2 pair and no other shoe I tried has the same feel.

I’ve worn many ASICS before and have always worn a size 8M in ASICS ( 7.5M in regular shoes). I had to send these back since the size 8M felt a bit narrow and short. It aggravated my left big toe bunion. They didn’t have the wide in my size nor the next size up so I asked for a refund. Sizes and colors are very limited. I suggest sizing up at least 1/2 size.

This shoe is almost perfect! I have hallux rigidus from arthritis in my great toe joint. I needed a shoe with good cushion, support, a bit wide, and with a stiffer sole so that the toe isn't forced into dorsiflexion with each step and these met those criteria. There is just enough "rocker" motion in the forefoot helps too but it's not as prominent as in shoes advertised as rockers which make me feel unbalanced. I had to size up to get the width and they only came in the pink/plum but I would buy them again. After a month, the heel is starting to rub a little if I do a lot of walking and I get a blister over the achilles tendon but I just wear a bandaid as they are so comfortable otherwise!

My feet are normally a 7.5 so that's what I ordered. The shoes seem that they could be very cool but very tight around my top and sides of foot. Should have at min gotten a 8. Hopefully these will stretch.
