  • Great accent to any MB
Size: Large
The Asiahorse light strip is very easy to install and uses no adhesives - it simply goes right down over the existing MB standoffs in your case (spacers are included in the event yours are too short to screw the MB back down). The quality of color is vibrant and smooth (you can't tell where the LED's physically are on it), making it very easy to color match to your other RGB accessories. I'm definitely going to be buying more Asiahorse gear! ... show more

  • Looks awesome, but a hassle
Size: Large
So I took a chance and bought something that didn’t have any reviews. I don’t like doing that, but this was the only LEDs I were interested in adding as I wanted something more subtle as opposed to those big light bars. I will say that in the end it looks great and integrated into my existing lighting with no issues. I would suggest testing them first to make sure they work as you have to remove the motherboard to install these, and no one wants to go through all that work just to find out that you have a dud. Luckily not the case for me. Now for the hassle part. Besides having to remove the motherboard (which I knew before I bought and so I’m not complaining), these were a very tight fit. They are supposed to slip over the risers (at least that is how their video shows it) but I don’t know if my risers are a micrometer wider than normal or if the holes in the lights were just a micrometer too small, but I really had to push hard to get these to snap in. I thought I had broken something when they finally did but thankfully not. Besides that, they are tight to the back of the case that they caused a problem with the I/O shield and as a result, my two highest USB ports in the back and every so slightly out of alignment with the shield (see photo). Very annoying. I can still use the ports but now it’s very tight. I eventually attempted to solve for this by removing the foam that is on the lights. The foam creates a padding between the light casing and the motherboard which is a nice touch, but it’s way too thick. Without removing it, I couldn’t even get any of the ports to align and my motherboard would’ve been bending at the edges. For what it’s worth, I have a Gigabyte B550 series board, so maybe the lights just don’t fit these boards perfectly. There’s also nothing in the description to indicate that my board (or any others) aren’t compatible. After removing the foam it’s a better fit and my ports are all usable, but I shouldn’t have had to do what I did to make it work. Other than that, the only other thing to point out is that my corners didn’t align perfectly as there was a super small gap (see photo). However after installation I can say it’s completely unnoticeable, especially powered on and lit up. All in all I’m happy in the end, just be aware you may have to do some tinkering to get these to fit just right. ... show more

  • Works great
Size: Large
The only pain can be trying to install them if you are adding them to a system I had to tear my whole rig down almost

  • Looked nice
Size: Large
They looked nice when lit up. But I have a bit of stuff that hang over the edge of the board so you really do not see it all that well. I ended up returning because it just did not work well with what I had. Plus it did seem the case did get in the way a little bit.

  • Looks great, a little dim.
Size: Medium
Easy to install, easy to set up, a bit on the dim side. It's the dimmest light in my case.

  • Subtle But well executed ARGB motherboard accent.
Size: Large
Works great. Love the look and works well with Asus Aura. My only complaint: you cannot flip it over and run it in a mirror configuration without drilling an extra hole in it. What I mean is, it only works runnig up and left ( like in my pic) or down and right left side of board). Not down and left. I was hoping I could have it on the right side and bottom of board. In my case you have to really get low to see the top of the board. Inclusion of an extra hole so it would fit the right side of a motherboard with the angled edge facing up or down wouldn't be that big or a reach. Otherwise, awesome product. ... show more

  • Needed a little fabrication but over good for some extra rgb
Size: Large
These light saber sticks are supposed to fit securely over standard sized mobo stand-offs screws. The holes were too small and I had to bore them out to get them to fit. If drilled carefully they can be fitted perfectly and drilling won’t interfere with the led strip. (Sorry if forget which size bit I used but just eye ball it). The lights are nice and bright and colors very good but there are hot spots. Also, I noticed since these sticks occupy the space between the case and the mobo and the top stick sits behind the vrm of most mobo boards, the air flow is reduced and the mobo temps will run a few degrees higher (if that matters to you but no impact to cpu temps). ... show more
