As some other reviews have mentioned there are some sharp edges on the frets, but other than that it's a pretty decent guitar for the price. The color is darker than the pictures show, but still a nice guitar.

Honestly my mind is blown. I absolutely love this guitar! It has great tone and a deep sound to it, a few people have already mistaken it to be a Martin, and when I tell them how much I paid for it their jaws drop. Build quality is well above average for the price, frets have zero buzz, no dead frets, no cracks or inconsistencies in the woodwork, no scratches or runs in the finish, the guitar itself is beautiful and the inlay around the soundhole is remarkable. Shipping was faster than anticipated, arriving 3-4 days before the estimated delivery date. Love the natural color on it as well, I prefer a satin neck but the gloss looks amazing too. The neck is also pretty thick, I have big hands and have no issues but if you have smaller hands and have a tough time moving around a neck that’s a little thicker you may have issues, that is my one stipulation. Otherwise, this guitar is amazing. I also ordered a ukulele and another “beginner” type classical guitar from Ashthorpe, they are quickly becoming my favorite brand of instruments. Will definitely continue to order instruments from them! Get one if you’re on the fence, this guitar is truly stunning and an absolute must have for the guitar enthusiast or beginner!

It can wrapped well like an Egyptian Mummy! Haven't tuned and played it yet, but curious about one of the nuts in the pic. As a beginner for about a couple of years, what do I do, if it's a simple fix? Other than that, looks good until I tune and play. UPDATE: The pegs are fine. After I tuned it, it was great! It sounds sweet to my ears. Practiced my chords and learned a few simple songs to strum. I can't believe I got this well built guitar for such an inexpensive price!

My wife and I bought each other guitars for Christmas. I picked this one for myself. The guitar was packed well and arrived "looking" intact. The first thing that I noticed was the color. The photos on Amazon show a nice, rich blue that's pleasant to look at. The guitar I received is a very dark blue that doesn't have the same pop. Looks to be more paint and less stain. Upon picking up the guitar to finish unboxing it, I noticed some rattling coming from within the body. I looked and saw that the electronic pickup with swinging freely from it's wires. It had what looked to be a sticky pad to keep it in place, so I reached between the strings and stuck it near the hole. Not sure if that's the right place for it, but it's all I could reach. After further inspection, there was still a rattle noise. I looked again and saw a piece of ribbing/internal structure has broken off and was banging around. I had to unstring the guitar completely to remove that. Overall, not impressed. I did get it tuned and it sounds good, but I feel like I have a broken instrument and the color wasn't what I was expecting. I will be returning this if possible and going with another brand.

Two day free shipping! I just got it and tuned it up. Other than slightly sharp frets, everything seems good. It could use strings but for the bucks it sounds great as is. I know good strings will make it sound even better. The electronics work fine too. Cheap gigbag, but still it comes with it. Very happy right now.
