This is a SOLID brand! I have plenty of "high-end" blushes, bronzers and powders, yet, this is the brand I reach for. It never disappoints. I love these compacts, and I admit I own many of them. THIS particular shade has a bit of sheen, so not matte like some other compacts. Take a large fluffy brush, swirl it around and apply to face for soft, diffused application. There is plenty of pigment to build if you want. I love the different tones, where it's almost a cross between a blush and a bronzer! *Breakage, because it IS a thing when we order online. Not applicable to you, just skip this section. These compacts fares a little bit better than similar products. HOWEVER, if you order it and it doesn't break in transit, you should be good. Some makeup totally crumble with stuff *everywhere.* If a Physician's Formula face product compact breaks, it tends to be a crack across the surface, with a few chunks of pigment. You won't be able to save or use that. My compact didn't survive being in luggage from Europe, and I went to replace it right away! I ordered one from beauty chain [you can likely figure out who] sent me one and it was broken badly, and it was a hassle getting a new one, because they were sold out. I love this brand and this blush is no exception. It's the perfect color blend without being too subtle or too much. It's also very lightweight so you can use a little, or build the color up.

I bought it of course because I fell in love with the beautiful packaging and needed something different. This blush highlighter compact came in good condition and a good size for travel. In regards to the color payout, I'd say it's very very light based on one swipe. The brush that came with it is no good. It leaves a mess when I use it, leaving dust. So I recommend using your own better quality of blush brush and pat pat pat on this compact and apply on your cheeks. You'll have to apply a few layers to have the color show on your cheeks because its very light. Either that the color is very settle, light pink. I can't seem to see the "highlights glow" it says. It may look more matte? Will play with it some more and see. So far, its not bad and not the greatest, its a safe set. So I'll keep it for days that I want a light touch up on my face. ... show more

Reached out to physicians formula because it broke in a million pieces for no reason, and they told me to reach out to Amazon. Horrible customer service. I was past the return window, so basically I lost money on a product that I only used a handful of times.
