I recently purchased the Signature Design by Ashley Queen Size Chime 12 Inch Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattress with Green Tea & Charcoal Gel, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This mattress has exceeded my expectations in several key areas. First and foremost, the comfort level is outstanding. The medium firm support strikes a perfect balance, offering just the right amount of firmness without sacrificing comfort. The memory foam conforms to my body, providing excellent support and relieving pressure points. This has significantly improved the quality of my sleep, and I wake up feeling refreshed and pain-free. Initially, I was concerned about purchasing a boxed mattress online without trying it in person at a store. However, this mattress is comparable to a plush firm mattress available at local mattress stores, and my concerns were quickly put to rest once I experienced the comfort firsthand. One of the standout features of this mattress is the infusion of green tea and charcoal gel. These elements not only help with odor control but also maintain a fresh and cool sleeping environment. I've noticed a marked difference in temperature regulation compared to my previous mattress, and it stays comfortably cool throughout the night. The quality of construction is also impressive. The mattress feels durable and well-made, with high-quality materials that are evident from the first touch. It arrived well-packaged and was easy to set up. After allowing it to expand fully, it reached its full 12-inch height and retained its shape beautifully. Additionally, I was pleased to find that the mattress didn't have any off-gassing smell while it was expanding. It's worth noting that the delivery of the mattress was handled by a third-party delivery company. While the delivery was smooth, the boxed mattress is quite heavy and cumbersome to move with just one person. I highly recommend having two people to move it around the house and help with the setup. This will make the process much easier and more manageable. During the expansion process, I observed that the mattress sections on the outside of the roll expanded within an hour, while the section in the middle of the roll took about two days to fully expand. Due to this, I placed the middle rolled section by the footboard to allow additional expansion over time while still being able to use the mattress after 48 hours. As someone who weighs over 300 pounds, I find this mattress to be very comfortable and supportive. It provides excellent stability and does not sag, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What's more, it's extremely comfortable during side sleeping, providing the perfect level of cushioning and support.     • Feels as Good as the Most Expensive Bed-In-Box Brands but at a Fraction of the Cost!

First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it. For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights. Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking. When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body. So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all. We have purchased several mattresses in our lives. Some cheap, some super expensive (like thousands of dollars), some boxed and some spring. We decided to go for this one when we saw it on sale and bought the 12”, California king. This is BY FAR the best mattress we’ve ever bought and we are SO glad we went for it. My husband has nerve damage from an accident and since sleeping on this mattress, his pain has been reduced by more than half. I am usually a very light sleeper, tossing and turning all night, waking up every time he moves. With the mattress, I fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm goes off. It is firm, supportive, and molds perfectly to your body. My husband and I are both on the heavier side, and nearly two months in, this mattress is still perfect. No signs of drooping or sagging. Out of the box it filled right up, and even though there was a very slight plastic smell from the wrapping, it was gone by the time we made the bed. We let it breathe and expand several days, but honestly a couple hours after opening it had already filled out beautifully. I can not recommend this mattress enough. If you are on the fence because you’ve been let down by previous boxed mattresses, take the plunge anyways. It’s amazing. And the price is unbelievable. When it’s time to replace other mattresses in our house we will be getting these! ... show more
