Excellent quality for a mattress if you already have a box spring or platform bed. Way more than what I expected with it coming vacuum-shrink wrapped and rolled up and placed inside of a 12x12 box. Not heavy at all either because I drug it inside, opened it, and unwrapped it myself while my husband was at work. We had purchased a one-sided pillow top when we got married about 6 years ago with a bedroom suite brand new from Rent-A-Center, so the transition from sleeping on a mattress (even a pillow top) with coils inside of it to this memory foam mattress took a night or two to adjust to. It is a firm mattress, however it's still super soft and comfy. And surprisingly, it isn't hot which was a fear we had with pitcher a memory foam mattress. I had one in the past and it was so hot sleeping on that mattress in the summer regardless of the type of fabric the sheets was made from, but the cooling gel they placed inside this one makes all the difference in the world. Sheets that you purchase today automatically come as deep pocketed sheets unlike the standard sheets from when I was a child, so any set of standard sheets you purchase nowadays is guaranteed to fit without you having to get measurements before purchasing them for this mattress. Our previous sets fit this mattress perfectly with the 12inches of memory foam that the mattress consists of. The material this mattress is made of actually keeps your sheets from slipping or coming off, guaranteeing they do not to slip whatsoever regardless of whether they're microfiber, Jersey cotton, satin, cotton, egyptian cotton, and even silk! Pretty much fills totally out to original size in minutes even though the box says 78 hrs. No problems with ours and we've had it about a month now. It's still maintaining its form and firmness. Altho it is a firm mattress, it aides and relieves pre-existing back pain and pressure quite noticeably. Our previous mattress would have my back and my husband's back in a mess before the morning. I'd often wake up about every hour and a half due to how bad my back had gotten. However, I only wake up about once a night now and that's only because we have 3 kids and j get up and check on them during the night. Neither one of us wake up groaning in pain and dreading trying to get out of bed like we had been so since we purchased this mattress. All around exceptional quality & comfort for the price and it ships rather quickly. We had ours in less than 4 days. I recently purchased the Signature Design by Ashley Queen Size Chime 12 Inch Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattress with Green Tea & Charcoal Gel, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This mattress has exceeded my expectations in several key areas. First and foremost, the comfort level is outstanding. The medium firm support strikes a perfect balance, offering just the right amount of firmness without sacrificing comfort. The memory foam conforms to my body, providing excellent support and relieving pressure points. This has significantly improved the quality of my sleep, and I wake up feeling refreshed and pain-free. Initially, I was concerned about purchasing a boxed mattress online without trying it in person at a store. However, this mattress is comparable to a plush firm mattress available at local mattress stores, and my concerns were quickly put to rest once I experienced the comfort firsthand. One of the standout features of this mattress is the infusion of green tea and charcoal gel. These elements not only help with odor control but also maintain a fresh and cool sleeping environment. I've noticed a marked difference in temperature regulation compared to my previous mattress, and it stays comfortably cool throughout the night. The quality of construction is also impressive. The mattress feels durable and well-made, with high-quality materials that are evident from the first touch. It arrived well-packaged and was easy to set up. During the expansion process, I observed that the mattress sections on the outside of the roll expanded within an hour, while the section in the middle of the roll took about two days to fully expand. Due to this, I placed the middle rolled section by the footboard to allow additional expansion over time while still being able to use the mattress after 48 hours. As someone who weighs over 300 pounds, I find this mattress to be very comfortable and supportive. It provides excellent stability and does not sag, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What's more, it's extremely comfortable during side sleeping, providing the perfect level of cushioning and support. Overall, the Signature Design by Ashley Chime 12 Inch Memory Foam Mattress is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, and high-quality mattress.
