This rug is SO soft and so pretty. We have hardwood floors and our senior dog likes to lie on the floor in front of the couch and I just don’t feel like that’s super comfy. Unfortunately about a week after buying this, our cat threw up on it and I was SO sad thinking it was ruined. Then I read that this is machine washable and figured I’d give it a shot and omg. Love these rugs! Have purchased 4 for our home. Will buy again! I was uneasy about washing them as I was afraid of shedding and balling up, but after I spilled a drink on one of my rugs, I was forced to throw it in the washer and dryer. It came out looking as beautiful as when I received it brand new! Including the underside. If you've ever washed rugs, some start to fall apart on the underside. Not these! They are a beautiful eye piece to our bedrooms and are very soft on your feet. Mine do not slide around on our hardwood floors nor do they shed at all. I bought this rug (2x6) to add softness, coziness, texture, and roundness to the separate seating area in my living room. It pulls that part of the room together so well! It has made me use my reading chair more often, because it's somehow comforting to wiggle my toes in the fur. The only issue is that it moves about on my hardwood floor. It's not a problem for me, as the area doesn't see a lot of foot traffic, but it's something to keep in mind. You might want to consider an additional non-slip runner. ... show more

One in front of each sink and they go well with my color scheme. My only dislike is I wish they were rectangle instead of the shape they are.
