I originally bought this as a cozy accent rug, but my dog immediately claimed it and now uses it more than his actual bed. It’s soft, warm, and thick enough to be comfortable on hard floors. What I really like is that it looks more like decor than a pet item, so it doesn’t feel out of place in a rustic or cozy space. It’s held up well so far and hasn’t flattened or matted down with regular use. The only downside is that it does attract some pet hair, which is expected with faux fur.
