We received the AsFrost interactive cat toy today and am highly impressed! —Per the instructions, we immediately charged the motor using the charging cord provided in the box, which we plugged into our own USB charger. —The charging cord is a nice quality braided cord. —Motor arrived mostly charged, so it only took approx. 15 min to fully charge and for the charging light to turn green. —Set up of the unit was easy. We set it up around our dining room table, which allows our cat (4 yrs old) to use the table chairs to hide/stalk the toy but yet has plenty of room to run around the table chasing down the toy. —The rope is soft and if our cat lays on it, both the toy/rope stop moving, so there’s no risk of him getting hurt/entangled in it. —The toy makes a mouse sound, which we initially kept on to entice our cat from another room, however, it can be turned off, if desired. We have since turned off the sound as once our cat was engaged in playing with the toy, he was then indifferent to the sound. —Our cat was a little apprehensive at first (always is with anything new) but after a few minutes, he became so excited/engaged with this toy and began chasing it around and talking to it. —I like that it has 3 different speeds. We started him off at the slow (walk) speed, which I would say is more like power walking and he took to this toy unlike any other interactive toy he’s played with. —The motor is quiet, so when they play with it at night, it does NOT disrupt our sleep. ;) —The toy runs for 15 min and then shuts off. Once it shut off, he still pounced/played with the feather toy, all the while chatting up a storm. He continued to paw at the feather toy in hopes to revive it and even walked up to the motor inquisitively trying to see how to turn it back on (yep, he’s a smart one). We intend on turning this on in the morning before we leave for work, midday (on the days we WFH) and at night before bedtime—to release his energy, exercise him and hopefully aid in a restful daytime nap/night’s sleep. Overall: excellent toy for indoor cats and is unique in its design (never saw anything like this before). Highly engaging/entertaining for our cat and even found it fun/entertaining to watch his excitement as he played with it. Our cat gives it four paws up!!

This toy is amazing! My cats are obsessed and play with it every day. It’s super easy to set up, you can create so much around the house. Comes with the toy, they love it. The suction bases hold strong, and it keeps them moving. I can let it run on its own while I work. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. Totally worth it!

This cat toy is fantastic! I even had fun with my cats trying to set it up and when it was ready they enjoyed to play with it. Has different settings, how fast or slow can go, also can make bigger the square or in differents ways to set it up. Almost not noise level, good built quality, seems durable and heavy duty. The design is also so cute for cat. what a product!!!

I have two cats and just got another baby kitten. They were aggressive towards the kitten, so I looked for new toys to get them.to play together. My cats all went nuts for this thing, even my overweight cat who never plays! They meow at it anytime it shuts off and they run around like crazy. My cats now all get along and play together because of this toy, and they don't seem to get bored of it like other toys. Definitely worth the money. Be careful not to put it where your going to trip over it! The only bad thing I can say about this is the weights are not heavy enough to hold the toy down without moving. They give you velcro but your forced to hook it up to four things for each weight. We tied weights to them to keep them down. They could improve this product drastically if they made the stands heavier so the toy could sit on its own without having to be tied down.

My cat has never been entertained for so long by a toy (that is'nt me on the other end of a fishpole). Seems expensive, but worth every penny. The thing moves for a while in one direction, then stops and goes the other direction. Just perfect. Speed is highly adjustable. This hilariously came without any assembly instructions, but is in fact easy to figure out. You can really configure this in a bunch of different ways, with string of varying lengths, using 3 or all 4 pulleys. Just an awesome kit that lives up to the hype.

Out of the box, the remote did not work. Like a lot of other customers, I charged the motor right away. The motor does not hold a charge. I have to fully charge it for it to run for one day (with maybe three sessions). This item is so expensive and not worth it. I also noticed the screen was scratched, so I was definitely given a used item. There was also a piece of tape over the "on/off" button which seemed unprofessional. Beware - you will likely not be sent a brand new item. This toy is frequently returned and I suspect they are just re-packaging and re-selling them which is not acceptable.
