We remodeled our kitchen and used two of these as the main ceiling lights. I set them for the highest color temp, because our eyes perceive that blueness as brightness and we really wanted to brighten it up. And they do; we love them. They're wide enough that the light is fairly diffuse and soft. One of the original units I bought had the outer decorative trim bent up. Wrinkled, kind of. Amazon return and replace procedure and it was fine. The box was intact and not dinged up so it was done pre-packing at the plant. I'm a little nervous about what happens when the LED unit does quit on us. It's not like every hardware store has these "bulbs" on the shelf. I guess we'll see. They've only been installed for a few months so they're just getting started. ... show more

This light was very, very easy to install. It's lightweight enough that there are no additional anchors required to mount it to the ceiling. Just rotate it onto the existing screws on your junction box and tighten them, set your desired color temperature, and then twist the cover on until it locks. The color temperature adjustment is great since I'm sensitive to the bluish light that's in everything these days. 3000k looks great in my bedroom. This light works well with a Lutron Maestro dimmer switch, and with NO BUZZING! (unlike the more expensive 'Project Source' lights from Lowes) ... show more

I love this light! It’s cute and I had it installed in my nursery. I originally ordered an opened one and had it installed. The light would flicker when I tried to put it on a dimmer switch. So I returned it and purchased a new one, thinking it was a faulty light. Nope, still flickers and slowly dims by itself when connected to a dimming switch. So, I purchased a new switch, hoping that was the case. Also, no. The light had to be hooked up to a regular toggle switch with no dimming. It works fine in this setting without the dimming capabilities. However, the description claims it can indeed be hooked up for dimming, so I am disappointed. I do love the look of the light and the different color functions that I can manually change if I want to, so I decided to keep the light installed without the dimmer. I just hope it has a long life span, as the light is also made cheaply with a plastic cover. But overall, I recommend for the price. ... show more

I was surprised when I unpacked it that it’s entirely one piece of plastic. It looked really cheap when I took it out of the box, but once it was hung, you really can’t tell that it’s entirely plastic. It was easy to hang because it’s light weight and one piece. It’s very bright and you can select from different types of light - cool, warm, natural, etc. I really hate cool looking lights so that feature was important and worked as advertised. ... show more
