This is probably more of a “heavier duty than it could have been” than a “super heavy duty” cart. It’s very medium in heavy duty-ness. I would not trust it with 300lb, but I’ve seen carts before that look like a stiff breeze would take them out and this one definitely seems sturdier. It isn’t as heavy duty as others I’ve seen but I like it. It is lightweight and easy to fold up and pop up. Handy for gardening and a lot of other tasks as well.

This car is small enough to fit into my car and yet large enough to serve my weekly shopping needs. Grocery stores are not providing shopping bags for customers, so this folding wagon comes in handy. It works well as a family picnic tool too, easy to pull around and the wheels run smoothly on rough roads. Highly recommended.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review. I am a high school teacher and my walk from my car in the parking lot to my classroom is probably close to a quarter mile. Not too far to carry things but I can only carry so much. The carts we have in my department are short side carts so things sometimes bounce or fall out. This wagon is just about ideal for our needs. The whole thing is made from steel and seems quite strong. The black finish on it appears to be a powder coat (so its pretty durable). The canvas bag that creates the inside of the cart is made from the same nylon fabric as my best backpacks. Everything attaches to the frame nicely with hook and loop strips and stitched in pockets. There are even a couple of drink holders on one side of the nylon insert. The handle collapses down and has a fairly stiff locking mechanism. That is probably going to be the weak point of this wagon, but it works well right now and even if it failed it would only be a minor inconvenience. Overall this is a great wagon for us. Would definitely buy another one.

I have another collapsible wagon that is about the same size. Comparing the two wagons: For both, The wagons are lightweight, collapsible, portable, and relatively inexpensive. The front wheels rotate 360 deg. The back wheels are fixed. The wheels do not have a brake. Bottom board is canvas over something rigid. It has no odor. This one: Approx 12 lbs. Stated capacity 300 lbs. I would trust it with 100 lbs for sure, and more if it is evenly distributed. The support structure consists of 3 metal bars that run horizontally across the wagon body and some bars that run longitudinally (partially) at each end. This provides more support and feels far sturdier than the other wagon. The wagon should hold about 6 standard-sized paper grocery bags. Can lock the handle in ‘up’ or ‘down’ position. Handle is currently hard to unlock and swing away from the wagon, but the handle attachment feels secure. The wagon arrived fully assembled. Open it, drape the one-piece fabric liner inside. Fit a triangular piece over the middle joint on each side, then Velcro the ends over the metal wagon ends. Done. Opening the box took longer than turning the two pieces into a ready-to-load wagon. The collapsed version is rectangular, 4 x 18 inches. It will not stand upright by itself. The package did not include instructions. I will continue to look for a way to make it stand up by itself. Most pieces appear to be riveted together. This will require some fiddling to fix if they break. Wheels are held on with nuts/bolts. It maneuvered well on grass and dirt. On small rocks, it mostly bounced over them. I did not test it on sand. Comes with cargo net that hooks on to the corners. The other one: 15 lbs. Stated capacity 250 lbs. The support structure consists of a metal ‘X’ across the bottom. I would trust it with 50 lbs. Handle assembly seems to be a weak point. Folds to a square-ish shape, 9 x 12”. Collapsed version will stand upright. Each wagon has its advantages. I prefer this one because it is sturdy and has a good handle attachment. The only thing I don’t like is that it will not stand up by itself when it is collapsed. My two wagons are lower end of the price range for collapsible wagons.
