I can't vouch for their intended as paintbrushes, but these are great in our tabletop sandbox for drawing letters and numbers, and for excavating small toys and rocks. The translucent colors are really pretty when we play with sand on the light table, too.

Worked for me! I got these for doing holiday crafts with glue & spakles. I'm no artist, so I don't think anybody doing fine art/paintings would get these. They are great for crafts! Nice variety of sizes, too.

My husband and I actually used these for painting our house - all the imperfections around trim or where the painter's tape was uneven - they are so helpful. No problems with brush hairs shedding. Highly recommend!

I should have been more mindful. Half of the brushes were ragged. Not much range in size. Disposable basically. I was looking for a cheap set but next time I’ll go to the art store.

Brushes are great for basic arts and crafts with kids. They are lightweight and come in various sizes as seen in the product photo. These shed a lot, however and I found myself pulling the material out of the paint quite often. Further adding to my petty frustration is the paint being pretty streaky when applied to wood products, so you may want to add an extra coat depending on your project. My wife bought these for a painting party she had for her friends 50th birthday. They worked out great and they were cheap enough that everyone could take their brushes with them when they left.

while i wouldn't say these are professional grade, they're fine for my purposes. and i believe they'd work okay for younger artistic hobbyists out there. just keep in mind they aren't really Meant for heavy duty works of art. i would shy away from using them with anything thicker as a medium than acrylic. they'd shed and buckle under something like oils and the like. but for small projects like hobby work like the trending thing of painting squishies of rocks, they're perfectly okay. might be a bit streaky if used on pottery though. haven't tried that yet. but like i said, simple stuff like water paints, acrylics and the like, they're fine. ... show more
