The Artlii Projector is bright enough to watch with the lights on. The audio is also miles above a typical projector with built in speakers. I bought this for watching movies in the living room with the kids for special occasions. We currently have just a small white blanket hung to watch tonight, but that is just the start. I plan to get a bigger portable screen that will provide a much better experience. Testing it I was able to get an really large projection, and the picture still looked great. I did notice, when the picture got bigger the picture brightness also wasn't quite as bright, but I guess that makes complete sense. The projection is bright and clear, the 1080 HD projection looks just like what you would expect from a 1080 HD projection. I was able to watch this with all the living room lights still on and still not have an issue watching it. I turned it on briefly during the day as well in a well lit room, and while it will project and you can see it, I would say it would be difficult to watch an entire movie on it without some straining. The audio output is loud enough that I had to turn it down right away. It is plenty of volume to drown out the fan noise of the projector. I was impressed with the stereo sound coming from the built in speakers. There was not a lot of low end, so if you like to feel your movies as much as you hear them you will want to plug in some external speakers with some rich low end, but if that is not you, you will be happy with the audio that is put out from this projector. The projector comes with 2 HDMI inputs, 2 USB inputs, VGA, and a memory card slot. Since this will be mainly for projecting from a computer I am not interested in the USB or memory inputs, but they are nice if that is of interest to you. At first I couldn't find any way to mount the projector from the ceiling, as I didn't see any mounting holes underneath. I was a bit disappointed because that is what I wanted to do with this projector ultimately. After a little bit of digging and checking I found that the mounting screw holes doubled as the holes that the feet were screwed in. Simply removing the feed and the projector is ready to mount, which I will be doing soon hopefully. The projector has a small stand that is part of the front of the projector. That stand is adjustable and will allow for tilting it up to project where you are trying to aim it. This coupled with the manual keystone correction helped it show a square picture where I wanted it without having to put it up on books or boxes. ... show more

Love this projector! This is my 2nd projector and the image are much clearer at 3500 lumens than they were at 1200 lumens (previous projector). Easy to set up and easy to use. Very quiet when running and doesn't overheat. I use it for watching movies, TV shows, animation & video games (no lag). I can count on one hand how many product reviews I’ve ever completed, but definitely had to leave a positive review for this product. If you’re looking for an entry level projector for your basic around the house needs, then look no further! I was looking to spend more time with the family in our backyard during the evenings and realized a projector might be just the solution. I spent two full days researching the different options at my local big box electronics store and realized that the prices ranged generally between $350 and $700. I figured that price point was a bit high for what I was looking for as the projector wouldn’t be used for any important work related presentations Luckily I came across the Artlii 4000! It was listed at $189.00 with an additional $10 off coupon. I was a bit skeptical at first given the price point being so far below what I had known to be the average cost of a projector unit. However, at less than $200 this little unit can go toe for toe with any of its more expensive counterparts. Picture quality is amazing! So amazing that I never actually had to purchase a projector screen as the image projects in HD quality directly onto a brown wall we have in the background (see included photos). Currently getting well over a 100 inch image at about 15 feet. The sound quality is surprisingly crisp and clear. We’ve never had to even consider hooking up an external speaker as the volume is loud enough for everyone to clearly hear at even the lower settings. The built in focus, tilt and vertical adjustments are a luxury to have in such a cost friendly unit. In addition to unit runs virtually silent so you won’t be bothered by a loud annoying humming verbally produced by projectors We were able to hook up our AppleTv in addition to an XBox for video games without any issues and the built in remote for the unit makes for easy access to video/picture settings for dialing in the perfect customizations. In conclusion, if you are new to the projector world and are simply looking for a well built unit with an amazing picture/sound quality without taking out a second mortgage on your home to finance it, then the Artlii 4000 is the unit you’ve been searching for!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just received my new projector and I am very impressed with the picture and the sound. It’s absolutely amazing. I bought this to replace my old Panasonic projector so I was worried that that new one wouldn’t compare to my old one but I have to say it’s just as good if not better. The only reason I upgraded was because the old one didn’t have the inputs and outputs that I need but the new one has everything I need. My fire stick plugged right into it. If your thinking about buying this just do it. You won’t be disappointed ... show more

good bright picture, the price is crazy low! for a 1080p projector. The estimated lamp life it unbelievably long, 45k hours WOW! the only cons are the keystone adjustment is mechanical and I can not seem to get the top and the bottom of the screen clearly focused when it is adjusted to its full adjustment. The only other con is that there is no zoom, you have to move the projector to the spot where it fills the screen correctly, you can change aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 but 4:3 is not good as it makes everything and everyone long and thin... I have purchased mount with along arm so I can lower it down and move it forward to where the size on screen is right and Keystone doesn't need to be adjusted to its extreme. ... show more
