DO NOT PURCHASE! Most of the brushes were already used, hard and stuck together. 3 were not cut well and had uneven bristles. The angle brush wasn't even a straight cut, more like a slope. Im so disappointed and angry, was wanting to use them upon arrival. I'm gonna return for a full refund! Seller should be very ashamed selling crappy products! I liked the value and the variety of brushes. However, 5 of them came already ruined. They were hard like they had been used before and not properly washed and dried. I will try to soak them and see if they can be saved, but it's disappointing nonetheless.

Other than the flat brushes and sponges, this set was cheap and mediocre at best. the brushes started shedding during first use. very unacceptable quality even for the price. if you're buying for children this set might be okay. but for intermediate or professional painters this is not an obvious choice. I recommend paying extra for a higher end set. ... show more

You get what you pay for I guess, these shed hairs worse than my Husky x Cattle Dog mix. I would have rated lower had it not been for the blue and yellow brushes, as well as the cheap sponges, which I am mostly happy with because they were the quality I was expecting, just ok cheap synthetic brushes. The red and dark green brushes shed so much they're completely unusable unfortunately, even just as a fill brush for blocking in large areas of paint. I'm pretty sure I could make a better brush by super glueing a tuft of dog hair to the end of a stick. Edit to add: For the reviews saying they're used because they came "covered in glue" - they're not. They're just really cheap brushes y'all. The only ones that have the "glue" coating on them are the ones that shed (not a coincidence), and it's easily washed off in water. They do this to make the brushes look better in the packaging, because without the glue I suspect they would look like a mangey, dying animal, with all of the bristles falling out. ... show more

We bought these to paint rocks. I loved the price and variety of sizes. They're great with the acrylic paints we're using and clean easily. We did have a few natural bristled brushes that were not able to be separated (see pic) so we snipped the very end of one of them off to be able to use it. Also found one that the bristles keep coming out. Most of these brushes are great and the price was great so the few with issues weren't a big deal. ... show more

I ended up trashing these because they did not clean well at all.They lost shape immediately.Eventually the coating on the barrels chipped off as well. I ended up trashing most of them for a WalMart brand honestly.

    • Horrible Brushes: I would not recommend these to anyone. Would only use for small children.
Pros: - Large variety of brushes. - Affordable price. - Good for children. - Great example of low quality brushes if you don't know the difference between a low and high quality brush. Cons: - Low quality; The hairs of the brushes fall off and are not in position well. - Brushes came in all dried up and nasty; I could only use less than 1/4 of the brushes because of the condition they came in and quality. - Not meant for professional artists. - Stick of the brush started chipping off and breaking apart because of water. ... show more

i ordered these almost a week ago and i’ve used them to finish a project for school. the brushes do obviously what i want them to do which is paint. but one of the tiny blue paint brushes broke apart. i can still push it back together and all but yea, it broke off (as shown in one of the pictures). the big paint brushes i really like bc they are soft and it doesn’t really leave a bad streaky finish unlike some of the brushes. i used the sponge-like brushes for my mod-podge too, it doesn’t really leave a streaky finish either which is great. but overall these paint brushes are pretty good, i haven’t had any realllly bad situations yet that i’ve come upon or have noticed about these brushes. if i do come upon any thing i do not like, i will update this post n review it. i’m happy with my purchase and hopefully it will stay that way:). ... show more
