  • Amazing - 1 YEAR OF USE REVIEW
So, Aside from the pen being light and unbalanced (I would love to see a change in this and would buy a new pen if one was made that had a better balance and weight) I love it. I have had this tablet for almost a year now and it was one of the best changes I made. I got one of the ones that needed the firmware update, but it was super easy to do and only needed to do it once. I have had ZERO driver issues and NO alignment issues running on windows 10. That's a lot more than I can say after having a huion unit that broke my soul it had so many driver issues. (Huion issues essentially were the fact it would randomly disconnect, forget pressure sensitivity exists, Cause my whole computer to freeze needing a forced restart, all these multiple times in less than 4 hours which made streaming impossible. Mind you I'm married to someone that does high-end IT and he couldn't fix it because everything on my machine was fine and up to date. It was just the huion driver. It took 20-30 minutes to get it working in the first place.) As far as the aRGB rating. I find it holds true. Especially since I do most of my work at night. I work in print and need accuracy. I also have a color calibration device which I did find that I needed with this unit. That was understandable and expected. I find that when I first plug it in it leans a bit red, but when I run my X-rite i1Display it accepts the correction with ease and holds as long as it's plugged in. This is likely in part due to the fact I use my calibrator with my other 2 monitors already so it tries to apply the settings from there. This unit is very light. I didn't feel comfortable using it with the stand it came with. However, I made something that worked better for it with me, and they do sell a better stand. It's the same basic one a lot of small graphic tablets come with. The glove it came with were too loose on my hand however I have one I really like anyway and so use my own anyway. Overall I love this product and I would say it deserves much more attention than it has. You don't have to pay for a Cintiq to get the color accuracy you need. This really brings to the forefront functionality. It is not the most luxurious feeling thing in the world but it functions so well and has lasted me about a year now. There are no signs of weak points or things that are too delicate. I want a nicer pen out of them when they choose to make them but that's something I'll just have to wait for. Good JOB! ... show more

  • Good tablet for the price.
Pretty easy to set up. Wiring is super simple and is usb-C. Screen could be a bit brighter and higher contrast but it’s definitely worth the price. Comfortable and light tablet yet large screen; gets the job done. Definitely a good tablet for beginner / intermediate.

  • Great value for money tablet with a few minor issues
I would first like to disclose that I received the product for free, however, I was given no instruction on what to say in this review. This is my first screen tablet, my only previous tablets have been a Wacom Intuos and Wacom Intuos pro. Although the learning curve was moderately lengthy for me (around a week) it was really fun rather than frustrating due to how intuitive and easy everything was to learn. I really love how it’s super customizable in terms of setup (custom colors to match your pc, custom hotkeys, pressure settings, different monitor mapping ect). Something that I’ve noticed is that it has no detrimental glitches/quirks, whereas anyone who's ever worked with a Wacom driver knows that it’s borderline unusable at times (which is surprising considering that Wacoms are more expensive and are the industry standard). The tablet has a few minor quirks, such as sometimes taking a little while to connect, occasional brush lag, or needing a bit of calibration every now and then, but compared to how both my Wacoms would often require multiple PC reboots to fix the issues, all of the Artisul's quirks were either easy fixes (ie calibration) or so insignificant that working with them became muscle memory (ie the very bottom row of pixels of the tablet are sometimes unresponsive, so I quickly learned to use my pen a smidge higher up and I now do so without even thinking,). I use firealpaca to draw, and in the software, this tablet behaved exactly the same as my wacoms in terms of pressure sensitivity, and actually drew smoother and required less stabilizer, which I am very happy with! The only time I believe the tablet being a cheaper alternative to a Cintiq shows is, after working with a Wacom pro pen, the Artisul pen feels slightly cheap and isn't as good at finer details due to the thickness of the nib. The pen nibs are also less secure than a Wacom and fall out more often (I press really hard on my pen and it's not unusual for me to knock pen nibs out for reference). On the flip side of this, the pen nibs don’t wear out as fast as a Wacom which is a huge bonus. You get so much for this tablet and you really can’t tell that it's a relatively less expensive alternative. The tablet screen is really nice and big, feels very natural to draw with, and has effective anti-glare. The hotkeys are super useful and the LED color wheel is such an awesome touch. It really didn’t need to be included for the price but it is which makes this even better of a deal. There are lots of things like that with this tablet, such as a neat tool for changing pen nibs and a glove that, even though it wasn't necessary to use the tablet, is useful and comfortable. My only complaint with what is included is that the cable is a little bit short for my particular set up. Since the tablet is a second monitor it needs to be plugged into the wall, as well as into your computer's USB and HDMI. My PC is on the floor so having to get the cable to reach from the wall to the pc and then up to wear the tablet sits on my desk was difficult. You wouldn't be able to use the tablet on your bed, for example, unless you had an extension cord or a socket near. Overall, I would give this tablet 4.5/5. The pen and the slight awkwardness of cables are my only negatives aside from standard quirks that come with any piece of technology (and as far as my experiences with tablets go it's the least glitchy!). Having a screen tablet has elevated my experience as an artist in so many ways. To me, this tablet is way better than getting a more expensive Intuos-style tablet as it offers so much more for a relatively smaller price increase. ... show more

  • Great dupe for Wacom Cintiq!
GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR WACOM! Two of my cintiqs broke prematurely, and they told me during quarantine, that’s they’re repair factory was down. Just what you need for concept and illustrations! Great pressure sensitivity and resolution! Love that it comes with the stand as well!!! the only thing is that the pen does have a battery life, unlike Wacom pens, but that’s small compared to what I had to deal with, malfunctioning in there tablets. So, this is well worth the money with out the headache of dealing with Wacom, they’re customer service is worse than apple. • Could Be Better. Not their fault.
I purchased this tablet to replace my 11.6” display GAOMON graphics tablet and was skeptical at first due to the switch of manufacturers but was interested in this tablet because it had the led dial which I think is a nice feature for zooming, scaling, etc. Unfortunately, THE 60 DEGREE TILT IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH MAC SOFTWARE, at least according to a YouTube review video I watched after buying. I am currently running windows and the pen is jittery and not smooth at all and I cannot find a solution other than getting a mac. Kind of disappointed that I have to return this because it is a nice tablet, but the strict mac compatibility for a key feature is a big deal breaker. ... show more
