Great on binders and fairly easy to use. The darker colors are opaque and show up vibrant after the second coat. However the lighter colors do need several coats. They dry pretty quick as well!

These are a fun set of markers for painting rocks. The colors are dense and easy to see on rocks. There were 4 that were dried out, but there are multiples of some colors so not a problem for our purposes. Good easy and cheap set for crafting. There are no color names, so if that is important to you. You will need to make a swatch as the cap color is not exact. Landed on these because I saw some similar on TikTok. Those markers are not supposed to have streak marks. But with these, as you can see, there’s streak marks in the blue/water. A little more noticeable in the green also. Another con for me, I should have anticipated but didn’t think about, is that since these are acrylic, they almost completely cover up outlines. So I was very careful to not cover up the outlines, because in my opinion, it looks cleaner. So it does take a little longer to color with these. Like this picture took me several hours as I was carefully avoiding covering up the outlines. The box they came in is big and flat, it fits in a large backpack. I will say that the colors are nice. But that’s the darkest purple, darkest blue, and the darkest green so if you were looking for darker hues these might not be the pack for you. So that said I think I’ll use these in conjunction with my regular markers, especially for darker colors. I do really like the metallic gold and silver. Turned out nicely. They dry pretty quickly, but not as quick as a regular marker. Watch where you’re putting your hand. Don’t try to add highlights too quickly, or you might pollute the darker color on your lighter color’s tip. I also like these for the fine tip and the brush tip combo. Can’t imagine only having a brush tip. But I also noticed that the ink running to one side makes the other side lighter. Like I was coloring one slice of the lily pad with the fine tip, then switched to brush tip to fill in, and it was like a completely different shade. Maybe because I was applying less pressure, but I’m also thinking it was because the ink was all on one end. That said these have a time and place, when a page calls for bright colors. ... show more
