This item looks the part but it is cheaply made. I'm missing bolts and nuts. The lever to lean the chair back is too short. The leather has rips in it like someone removed a stapler for the bottom. I do not recommend this chair to anyone else.

Over time, approximately a few months, this chair does not go up as high as it did when it was first purchased. I find myself having to hunch over more and more to use it. Bad on the back and chest. Ergonomics are bad. Perfect for someone who does minimal amounts of services in a day…. Or every now and again. Not made for daily use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 of these chairs for my room in a multi suite salon. I used them for over a year and I never had any of the problems some of these other reviews suggest. I used them every day. One for styling and the other for shampooing. It's perfect for using at a shampoo bowl because the headrest comes off. And if any water escapes down your clients neck, it goes to the floor instead of your clients back. I much prefer using towels to clean up a little water off the floor then apologizing to my client for soaking their back. I've been a hairstylist for 40 yrs. I even used this for waxing my client's eyebrows and facial hair. I never had any issue with raising or lowering the chairs out locking in place.
