I have several Artilume laser engravers at this point, and I’ve been very happy with all of them. They’re extremely user friendly, easy to set up, and offer a surprising amount of power for the price. They are foldable, which is a nice feature, although honestly it isn’t something I personally use very often. What matters more to me is the versatility. Between air assist, rotary rollers, and the riser on this model, I can engrave a huge variety of items without having to fight with the machine or work around major limitations. The added height from the riser in particular lets me work with items that simply wouldn’t fit under some of their other models. I’ve used quite a few hobbyist lasers, and in my experience these are every bit as good as, and in some cases better than, others I’ve tried. I can’t compare them to professional machines costing several thousand dollars because that isn’t the category I’m shopping in, but for hobby and home-shop use, these have been excellent. The combination of power, ease of use, accessory compatibility, and price is hard to beat. Every Artilume machine I’ve owned has done what I needed it to do, and they consistently seem to punch well above their advertised weight.

I'm new to the world of laser engraving and this model is small enough to understand and powerful enough to get done most of what you need to get done. There are 3 watt and 12 watt versions made by Artilume, so this one is right in the middle of their available power selection. I love the fact that this unit can be folded up and stored away or put in a bag for easy transportability. The unit's case also becomes a stand, so it is also a versatile unit. Setup and disassembly is super easy, so you definitely won't have a hard time with that. There's even an app for your phone, so you won't need to hook it up to a PC. Construction seems to be top-notch, so it should last a long time. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.

I absolutely LOVE these Artilume laser engravers, these are awesome For taking with you in the go for if you want to use in remote locations, or something like a trade show where you want to do custom cards or something else for people at the show, or if you want to do personal engravings for people, they are easy to setup and use and it’s a great value with the little riser slash carry case makes it easy to take on the go, and take to you where er you need to take it, it’s not really powerful but plenty powerful for cutting leather patterns and wood for puzzles and other stuff, I have used several of this brand and all have worked great, as long as you don’t try to use the laser past its capabilities you won’t have a problem, good quality and good price and it can even be used via WiFi and with a smartphone

I have 3 other laser engragers ftom Artilume, just like the others I've used, this engraver is pretty powerful for the 7W level it states. It does fold away and has a nice case that their other foldable engraver does not. This however has the same problems as their version without a case, needing to remove the laser before folding. This engraver is identical to their T1 foldable, just adding a case. If you insist on getting the folding version it will work, but I would highly recommend spending the extra ok this one to get the case and extra height. If you have a non-folding Artilume laser, too bad it won't work on here. I was excited to try my 12W on this, but it just doesn't work. The biggest problem with this system, unlike their non folding versions, is that the etching on this is very uneven. The transition forward and backwards become significantly more burned than the middle. Im sure I can control this will a full service PC app, but there is no way to control it utilizing the phone app they provide. That is a big issue on softer materials like wood, it isnt a huge problem on metal. This is also a pain when starting it and made it frustrating to use. You have to manually (by hand) adjust the x/y axis so it doesnt click and stop itself partway through the etch in order to trick the system into thinking its "zero" is at its 1mm mark instead. This laser engraver, and the other foldable version, have been a let down compared to their standard systems. If you absolutely need a portable system and can make adjustments on a PC for the transitions, then this is better than their version without a case. If you dont need a folder/portable version, do yourself a favor and get the standard ones with larger etching space.

This works very well for a laser at this price point. The materials feel nice and once it is set up, the whole unit feels very sturdy. I really like that the case also works as a height extension platform. I recently purchased the Artilume rotary and the extra height is definitely a must have when using it. The app software is easy to use if you want a simpler setup without connecting it to a PC. I still like having the option to use more advanced software like LightBurn when I need more control. The size is also a big plus for me. Even with the case, it is small enough to store in a larger drawer which I really appreciate because I dislike clutter. It is easy to set up, easy to store, and works well for the kind of engraving projects I use it for. Overall I am very happy with it and for the price they are asking I consider this to be a great value for the money.

This is a great laser engraver for anyone who wants something genuinely portable. It folds down surprisingly small, which makes it easy to take along to craft shows, events, demonstrations, or other situations where you may want to engrave away from your normal workspace. Setup is one of the best parts. It unfolds quickly and only takes a few turns and adjustments to have it assembled and ready to start engraving. That makes it much more practical for travel than a larger fixed-frame machine. The included app is fairly basic, but it is more than sufficient for simple projects and for beginners who want an easy way to get started. The nice thing is that the engraver is also compatible with more advanced third-party software, which gives experienced users a lot more control and expands what the machine can do. The riser kit is another useful addition because it gives you more flexibility when working with taller items instead of limiting you to flat, thin materials. Overall, I really like the portability of this engraver. It packs down small, sets up quickly, and gives you the option to keep things simple with the app or move into more advanced software as your skills grow. It is especially well suited for craft shows and anyone who needs a laser engraver that is easy to travel with.

Pretty slick little engraver that folds up and doesn't take up half your workbench when you aren't using it. It comes fully assembled right out of the box. The laser burns clean, dark lines into wood and leather without fussing with heavy gear. Wireless app control and LightBurn support make sending custom logos or property tags straight from the phone super simple. Good ventilation is a must. Overall pretty happy with this.
