The TEMPRESS ProBax seat comes equipped with a base and back dual core foam support system only available through TEMPRESS. This system is also water resistant and durable for prolonged use. The ProBax is sewn with UV and abrasion resistant polyester thread and covered in 30 oz marine grade vinyl to stand up to all the outdoor elements. A universal seat bolt pattern is molded into the frame to accept any 5.25” x 5.25" mounting system or pedestal. Stainless steel mounting hardware with Loctite patch is included. Take control of your boating and fishing experience, take control of your body and upgrade to the ProBax by TEMPRESS. Made in USA. The TEMPRESS ProBax seat is ABYC H – 31 Compliant. What this means for you is that TEMPRESS has put in all the work with the American Boat and Yacht Council to manufacture a boat seat that you can rest assure exceeds the highest standards for safety in boating. The ProBax utilizes our no-pinch hinge and is made in USA. The ProBax boat seat is injection molded and made using polypropylene substrates. We use only high grade materials like stainless steel hinge pins and 30 oz marine grade vinyl. We’ve taken the guess work out of boat seat shopping. TEMPRESS boat seats include 4 stainless steel ¼ - 20 x 1” mounting bolts with 180 degrees of thread locker applied for added security. The bolt hole pattern is 5.25” x 5.25” for ease of use with many universal mounting options. The ProBax is not compatible with the TEMPRESS Quick Disconnect Kit.

...Hello people!!!...I purchased high back Tempress Boat Seat after researching all the reviews of other large seats. I really like the camo pattern and plan on duplicating it when I paint my 14 ft. jon boat. The seat is nice and comfrontable. The stitching of the material used to cover the seat is done very well. My only issue is the button on the left side/bottom back. When you fold the seat down it locks. In order to raise the seat back up you have to press it in to unlock it. In cold weather all the plastics get real stiff and the button seems to stick, making it a bit of a chore for me to push it in so to raise the seat back. The hinges seem to get tighter do to the cold weather and squeak like an old barn door. I'm probably being super critical, but, I hope the molded plastics that the mainframe can hold up in colder temperature's. It is 19 degrees out right now.... This will be the last I'll be using my rig do to the 'Hard Water' forming quickly. To prove I really like the seat and I'm expecting a Tempress low back seat in a few days and going to mount it on the aft bunk. I Highly recommend the product. So, $cut$ to the chase and try one...You'll love it!!! My issue may not even affect your application. SFGS! Semper Fi Godspeed!!! ... show more

Comfy, sturdy, and sleek looking. One of the seats I replaced with this one was a 15+ year old Tempress that had seen its days in the sun, but was still in very good shape. I feel confident these Tempress seats will last just as long if not longer. Came with mounting bolts too. Most important: Made in the USA! Didn't love the price, but do love the seats and am even having better fishing results with them ;) ... show more

These seat fit nice bolted onto the bench seat in my Boston whaler. They're comfortable. The seats look to be well made. I cannot comment on there longevity because we just put them in. The 4 stars instead of 5 stars reflect the fact that the seat came with different size bolts. 2 short and 2 long. The short were not usable. We had to go to the hardware store and buy long bolts . ... show more

I often fish in choppy water with a lot of rocking and bouncing in my smaller boat. Sometimes my back and tailbone would hurt for a week after one of these trips so I invested in one of these seats and a shock absorber post and what a difference they made. My back felt so much better after the last trip and I didn't even need the usual recovery time. I just wish they were cheaper. I'd get 3 more. :-) ... show more
