I was really looking forward to this set especially since they are natural hair bristles. They’re extremely light and feel very cheap, insanely cheap. Other than that, the main concern we’re the bristles. The hairs just fall out (you can see in the image how theres more sticking and falling off) and I can just tell how much of a nightmare it would be to paint with them. I’ve seen so many negative reviews of this set specifically (this is the yellow natural hair set) and I’m just sad I didn’t see them when purchasing this. I am using these brushes for watercolor now. So far, they are doing great. I maybe had a hair or two fall out but did pretty well. I even scrubbed with the flat brush and it did great. These are inexpensive and great for the money. This case does not flip backwards into a stand. So if you need that then buy the case only for about the same price as this case with brushes. I plan to buy their other two sets of hog bristle and nylon for oils and acrylics. These are short handle brushes that come with the case. Oh, I am also able to slide some additional favorite brushes in the case that is already filled with brushes. Good luck. ... show more

I thought I would upgrade some of my older hog brushes unfortunately these do not compare. I feel they are more like a budget beginner brush. Some of the brush bristles came bent and shedded excessively.
