My 5 year old is in absolute love with this toy. We both have been having tons of fun picking things up and pouring them into his dump truck. Its a quality build and 10/10 value for the price I paid. It works fine on dry sand. It can’t dig below the plane of the track drive system. The recharge system works, but it is a timer based system not a smart battery charger. It works fine, very nice for the price.

It’s cool it’s fun but you can’t really manipulate the bucket at all. You just push a button and it lowers the arm, curls the bucket, then goes back up and uncurls in this premade motion so it’s essentially just a gag you can’t use at all. Even for messing around with something like sand
