Absolutely GORGEOUS!! These are heavy weight, super soft, well made LUXURIOUS curtains. I am thrilled with this purchase and actually just placed another order for more. I am super picky and 100% recommend these curtains. Velvet is soft and the color is nice. The curtains do not hang straight the gems on each end are shorter making each end turn and angle upward. The say room darkening in the description, these are not lined so only as dark as the layer of fabric.

The curtains are a little lighter weight than I expected after reading the reviews. I have noticed no difference in sound with the curtains closed. I would call these room darkening rather than blocking most light. I purchased the dark gray. They look good hanging but the side seams are a bit crooked and don’t hang straight down. Of you use rod pocket or tab pocket this will be a problem because the curtains may not meet completely in the middle. I switched to clips so there would be some overlap. I disagree that these are Cotten velvet, more like polyester. But they look ok for the money. I considered West Elm curtains but that would have cost me 3x more. So for my situation I’m happy. However, if you need complete light blocking these are not the curtain for you. The photo posted was a cloudy morning, nondirect sun shining in the window. You can see for yourself. ... show more

I’m using these with tension rods and it’s not so heavy that they pull it down. They are pretty and have a soft velvety texture and look more expensive than they are. These would be great in any room as long as you don’t need total light blocking. They have large pockets, narrower pockets and tabs for the rods.
