  • Good choice for a keyboard
Worked great right out of the box. Hooked to my computer, TV, and my quest 3 VR. Simple set up. Range worked great for TV and VR. And wifi works. Touch pad was snappy enough unlike a few others reviews stayed. Feels great and sturdy with the aluminum shell and keys are perfect to the touch. Instructions are good but lacking info of keyboard is left on will it go into sleep mode to save battery life. And also disappointed that it does not use USB C but rather the old out of date for many years now usb plug. Guessing an over stock on keyboards or parts to make them at this point in time. ... show more

  • Great Keyboard/touchpad
This keyboard is great! Needed to replace my mouse - my fingers were getting sensitive to the clicks. This, however, includes a very good touch pad to the keyboard, which has a great feel and only needs one fob (not 2), and offers other blu connects.

  • Good keyboard
For the most part, this keyboard works great. The only thing I don’t like is periodically the mouse pad doesn’t work (PS5). I love the design, the metal top and the option to hook to multiple devices.

  • Best of the Few
I wanted a wireless keyboard with a track pad that I could use from a recliner while coding, surfing the web and watching movies on my HTPC. This seems to have been asking for a unicorn because of the 6 keyboards I tried, none quite checked all the boxes. The Arteck HD197 (this keyboard) came the closest though, and is what I ended up settling for. Pros: - typing is responsive and feels much better than the Logitech K400 Pro and similar keyboards I tried. I can do some serious typing with these keys! Measured 80+ wpm while leaned back in a recliner. - perfect weight for lap typing, and the feet dont slide too much while in a recliner. - love the ability to switch between 3 devices using 2 Bluetooth connections and a 2.4ghz dongle. I use it to switch between a work laptop, iPad Air gen 3, and a Linux HTPC. - affordable. Mehs: - stainless still finish is kinda nice looking at first (would have preferred all black), but gradually accumulates finger prints and smudges. Cons: - sometimes the mouse will fall asleep but not the keyboard and vice versa. This can cause key remaps to be lost when the keyboard wakes, requiring them to be reapplied after every sleep. I created a script to detect connections and reapply keymaps, but this should not be needed. - serious ghosting due to strange key wiring. Some key combinations work fine (like caps lock + win key + 1), while similar ones do not (caps + win + 2). - strange inconsistencies between connection methods. On 2.4 ghz dongle I cannot select multiple browser tabs with shift + click, but I can when using Bluetooth. - prefer rechargeable batteries over irreplaceable lithium ion for sake of the environment and long term use. - not the easiest keyboard to clean, crumbs and such are hard to get out if they get behind the relatively large holes around the keys. - the new keyboard version no longer reports charge percentage via Bluetooth, but the old version did. Note there are two versions of this keyboard (see picture). The new one uses USB-C for changing, has a back button symbol above the keyboard, has connection LEDs that stay constantly lit while connected, and has some new quirky ghosting on 2.4 ghz that the old keyboard doesn't have (like shift + left click not working), and doesn't report battery percentage via bluetooth. The old version uses micro USB, has what I guess is a switch app button above the mouse, has connection LEDs that blink while connected, and doesn't suffer the new 2.4ghz ghosting but still has all the other previously mentioned ghosting, and reports battery life via bluetooth. It seems if you get a used or refurb keyboard it might be the old version, while new orders gave me only the new version. Overall I prefer the new version, though I really wish Arteck hadn't introduced additional ghosting. If you only want to do light typing, I suggest going with the Logitech K400 Pro. While its track pad is tiny, it is usable. If you want to do something more typing intensive, this is the best keyboard I have found with multi-device connect and a touchpad. If you can live with just a single Bluetooth connection, you might want to consider the Arteck HB305-4B. It has a slightly nicer black finish and keys feel a bit smoother to touch, but ghosting and other problems remain. I really wish there was a better engineered premium wireless keyboard with touchpad and multi-device connect. I would be willing to pay at least twice as much for one. But as of 2025 Q2 this is the best of the few available, so if the cons aren't deal breakers, give it a go! ... show more

  • Great product and excellent customer service!
Update - This is a great seller! They reached out to me and offered to replace the keyboard when I had a problem and I don't even have to send back the original. I've updated my review to reflect the excellent customer service. Mistakes are inevitable in life but how we handle them is what makes the quality of our character. Buy with confidence from these people. They'll take care if you if anything goes wrong. The keyboard is great for typing and I like the track pad a lot for when I'm composing music on piano across the room from my computer and a mouse is inconvenient. The track pad is a little small for long periods of use but it's great for when a mouse would be one too many devices taking up space. It's great if you're using a tablet or phone, for instance. The size of the track pad is a trade off between usability and form factor and I think the designers hit a sweet spot between the two. Having full sized keys to type with is more important to me than a larger track pad and the keys work well enough for my purposes to do quite a bit of typing on. If you need a keyboard with track pad built in, this is a good choice! ******* Original review The keyboard I received only works in WiFi mode. According to the Windows Bluetooth dialogue, the device pairs and connects but the PC doesn't actually receive any input from it when in bt mode. It only receives input when using the WiFi dongle. I really need the Bluetooth feature for when I'm working at a greater distance from the PC. Return on this is a pain too because I can't just drop it off at UPS. I have to find a box, package it, and print the label myself. Not a huge deal but more of a pain than I want to mess with. Disappointed all around. Other than that, it's a nice keyboard, good clicky keys, metal body, doesn't slide around on your desk. Gave two stars because it would be great if the Bluetooth option actually worked. ... show more
