This is a FANTASTIC art set, perfect for a child (remove the superglue packet first) or anyone interested in art of multiple media. It allows you to draw, paint, brush, and do so without creating some awful mess in your living room. The idea that it folds into itself and closes like a three faced notebook/briefcase is a BEAUTIFUL use of space, and integrating an ADJUSTABLE EASEL is a bit of design genius. Truly a fantastic gift for that artist in your life you want to supports, but you could do without the mess. Everything has it’s right place, everything snaps into place, and then when you’re done close the latch & you can just carry it away, everything including the artwork on the easel itself fully intact and rearing to go. The SHEER CONVENIENCE itself removes that small but persistent barrier to entry we all feel when first starting a project (“the brushes are all scattered, the charcoal is missing, I guess I’ll just get to it later” type thing. You know of which I speak. GREAT GIFT, but also very relaxing and enjoyable for your own practice. This is a great set for my daughter who loves to draw and paint. The choices are great although I would have preferred full-size pencils. This set is huge and so cannot be easily used on the road and it also takes up quite some space on the table.
