This set has a lot of introductory level and quality art supplies in a convenient case, nothing is super special, but the current price is $16.99 and you get a lot of stuff for that price. This set is optimized for kids primarily, I think most adults would not be as impressed with this but kiddos really love sets like this.

This is a FANTASTIC art set, perfect for a child (remove the superglue packet first) or anyone interested in art of multiple media. It allows you to draw, paint, brush, and do so without creating some awful mess in your living room. The idea that it folds into itself and closes like a three faced notebook/briefcase is a BEAUTIFUL use of space, and integrating an ADJUSTABLE EASEL is a bit of design genius. Truly a fantastic gift for that artist in your life you want to supports, but you could do without the mess. Everything has itâs right place, everything snaps into place, and then when youâre done close the latch & you can just carry it away, everything including the artwork on the easel itself fully intact and rearing to go. The SHEER CONVENIENCE itself removes that small but persistent barrier to entry we all feel when first starting a project (âthe brushes are all scattered, the charcoal is missing, I guess Iâll just get to it laterâ type thing. You know of which I speak. GREAT GIFT, but also very relaxing and enjoyable for your own practice. Just open the case, lift open the hinges, and you have IMMEDIATE access to several differing forms of art implements, tools, and media. WELL DONE.

This is a great set for my daughter who loves to draw and paint. The choices are great although I would have preferred full-size pencils. This set is huge and so cannot be easily used on the road and it also takes up quite some space on the table. But overall for all the items on the set, it makes it a great value and a good Christmas gift.
