  • Good shed, but has challenges
Shed was as advertised, but assembly was difficult. Alignment is quite tight making assembly somewhat challenging. I had to drill many of my own holes to assemble the unit.

This shed looks really good - however it took my brother about 35 hours to put it together; just one person - but instructions were not very clear. Fortunately, he's very mechanical, so could figure it out. As he put it on a concrete slab that we already had, we had to order the AK100 Concrete Anchor Kit separately - and didn't know it was required until the shed was partially built. Plus, the anchor kit costs an additional $35. I think this should be stated in the on-line description of the shed: that the anchor kit is required - but must be purchased separately. Also, the anchor kit did not contain good parts; they broke right away, and we had to get a concrete nail gun to get the shed fully anchored. Also, the shed is prone to denting because it's quite thin - so while putting it together, it tends to bend and you have to try to straighten them out after the walls are up. Also, doors could slide smoother: kind of jerky. Additionally, water runs under the shed when it rains, despite it being fully anchored. ... show more

  • Not recommended
Building has extremely POOR instructions. Diagrams were not clear how to install parts. Easy to assemble I rated it a One Star because there was not a ZERO Star Can not comment on Sturdiness or Sheerness at this time. For the price paid - we could have gone to Low’s and purchased/built a wood frame build cheaper. ... show more

  • Not exactly water tight. But you can make it water tight.
The 10' x 8' was easy enough for one person to install in a single day if you hustle. I did it in two days with ease. The problem is that you can see daylight in it from a dozen places. I used up two cans of foam sealant on the inside and 2 cans of spray-on rubber sealant on the outside. The most notable leakage areas are at the floor, at the peak, and where the walls meet the gable. I also welded a couple of light weight angle irons to the C channel roof joists to strengthen them. The I beam in the center should be strong enough on its own. But those C channels on either side look a bit flimsy. The best internet advice I got was when some guy said "put away your drill bits because you're not gonna need em". If you feel you need to drill your own holes, you're doing something wrong. Value wise, it's probably just as expensive as a traditional lumber and shingle shed. And those don't rust or blow over or collapse under heavy snow. Edit: I'm glad I reinforced the C-channels for the roof. I watched as a tornado on the ground passed right by me, and the shed, not 60 feet away. We both survived unscathed while trees took the brunt of nature's wrath. ... show more

  • Great value
This is a great value. The assembly is a beast though. You definitely need 2 people, but 3 would be better. For the price though, it is amazing

  • Nice shed
We purchased this shed mostly for lawn mower storage. Before the shed arrived, I found the instruction manual online and studied it thoroughly. I would highly recommend doing this to be very familiar with all the steps involved. My wife and I assembled this shed and everything went together as it was supposed to. Even with both of us working on it, and knowing the instructions well, it still took many hours to complete. If you have the tools and are pretty good at understanding and following instructions (and are not afraid of a little hard work), it should go well. The roof is a little tricky. I bought the floor frame kit, anchors, plywood (floor), and gravel separate. The completed shed looks great and serves the purpose we bought it for. ... show more
