  • Great shed, just a few minor issues
Pattern Name: Storage Shed
This is a great little shed! The instructions say it requires two people to build, but I did it 99% on my own. There were only a couple bolts in the roof that I needed another person to help finish tightening. It took me about 8 hours spread out over three days to finish. Make sure you plan for the time to do this, on days where there's 0% chance of rain and very little to no wind. And be prepared for a lot of fastening - there are almost 300 screws! The only tools I used were a phillips head screwdriver, pliers, and a drill. Some people say the instructions are unclear, but I didn't have any issues reading them. There were a few spots, though, that said to screw two pieces together that I then later had to unscrew to attach a third piece. Inconvenient, but not that bad. I took off a star (it would have been a half star if I could) because a lot of the screw holes were misaligned. Some of that is on me, I'm sure, but there were others where one side of the piece was perfectly aligned and the other was a good 1/4" off. I had to drill my own holes for those pieces. Again, inconvenient but not that bad. I also had to bend some of the vertical supports at the bottom to fit the plywood in. Buying thinner wood would solve that, but I wanted a sturdy floor. The floor frame (sold separate, but I included a picture) is super easy to put together. Just four bolts and the rest are just tabs that slot in with no problem. Finally, it was going to rain the day after I finished so I put in a leak detection system: UPS packing paper sheets (see photo). That makes it very easy to see where water is getting in. There are a few spots that leak, but I'm overall happy with how well sealed it is. I've marked these areas and I'll seal up the cracks when it clears up. It looks like just one bolt hole leaks, and the rest is where the roof panels meet the frame (so probably wind is blowing it in). Overall, I'm very happy with the shed and would definitely recommend it. You can install it on your own, but having a friend would be a pretty huge help. ... show more

  • Not an easy assembly process, pieces are flimzy.
Pattern Name: Storage Shed
It's a shed, so it's for storage of outdoor stuff, lawn mover, tools, weed eater, blower, edger. The assembly was painful. more than two days. and I was hoping the material was a little thicker. The sliding of the pieces into the slots is painful, a side by side process would have been easier. Aligning the bottom holes with each piece with the frame, those crews should have been longer. Its a nice color, and will serve the purpose for storage of lawn equipment. ... show more

  • Dented and damaged
Pattern Name: Storage Shed
This little shed is nice, and we love it, but it came with nearly every panel dented, creased, and/or damaged. Several hours were spent pounding out and straightening the metal as much as they could. Better packaging could have helped save damage to the metal panels.

  • Great shed, super-ease construction
Pattern Name: Storage Shed
We constructed this on a small tile pad in our backyard for additional storage. Definitely recommend purchasing the flooring kit and make sure your pad or foundation is level. Worked through the typical fitment issues but that is primarily because I gave my pad a little bit of a slope because the back of the shed would be right at my rear wall and this resulted in a little adjustment to make all the parts line up. I put the majority of the shed together by myself in about 6 hours total time. We used a plywood floor inside and have enough weight with contents that we did not secure the shed to the ground. Recommend purchasing the shed tie-down anchors if using in an open area where there could be high wind. Shed has been installed now for almost a year in the desert environment (Las Vegas) and is holding up extremely well. ... show more

  • Ok shed but a B**TCH to assemble
Pattern Name: Storage Shed
Ok for the $ but my husband hated putting it together. Had I’d known it would take appox 10-12 hours to assemble I wouldn’t have purchased. The instructions & illustrations were poor. Took too much time and created stressful experience for myself & husband. My husband is pretty handy / rough carpenter and this shed really pissed him off. I am just keeping it real on my review....it sucked assembling it!!!! ... show more
