First off this was a project doomed from the start. I initially sat me delivery date for a Wednesday between 9 and 9, nothing told the way it would be delivered for free so I scheduled it so it would come to my place of work to be able to use the forklift. That Wednesday crossroads logistics called me to schedule it for the next day (thursday) and when asked why it wasn't coming today she said she didn't know why Amazon said a day they have nothing to do with it. So it was to be there between 1 and 4 Thursday, 4 came and went and nothing, called to see where it was no answer, so I sat and waited, tried calling again finally got after hours dispatch he said truck was extremely late but he was making all his deliveries that day, sat at work until 830 and nothing still....Friday comes, crossroads won't answer the phone, I get a text saying it will be there Monday between set hours and there would be a 30 min call ahead. I had help scheduled to install it on the weekend so that trashed those plans. Monday comes and it shows up, not how it was supposed to but at least it showed up. Looking at the top box it says "1 complete unit DO NOT SEPERATE" also shows shelterlogic shipped it direct from Illinois to me via Estes, (tracking showed it coming from Washington state via NSD). Long story short it looks like it shipped Estes, transfered to NSD, then to crossroads logistics, the to 2 guys in a box truck with a different name with the 3 boxes off the pallet loose on the floor...WHAT A MESS and somewhere in all the shipping changes it did get damaged but not enough to give thru all the hassle again. As far as assembly goes it's pretty straight forward, except (I knew going in it wouldn't be perfect this is not my first building kit by any means) there are so many joints in the frame and roof that NO MATTER HOW LEVEL AND SQUARE everything is, it dont work out right and you are left with a carport that looks decent but when you look at it close its got a lot of fitment issues ... show more

I am using this product to cover a couple of kayaks w/trailer. Firstly, the color is not "charcoal" and is not even close to the roof color pictured. I was really hoping to match roof colors with my shed. Nope. It was easy enough to assemble with basic tools. No bolts, washers, or nuts.... just a trillion self taping roofing screws. If you think you are going to get this shelter perfectly square, forget it. I managed to get it square "enough" Seems sturdy enough, does come with anchors, time will tell. Was it worth the money? For me, I suppose it was. I was expecting a little more quality, maybe better hardware. Oh well. ps. package did show up with some damage, tine was bent... easy enough to straighten out. Again, don't expect perfection and you won't be disappointed. ... show more

I ordered this cover to provide some protection for an older boat that I had purchased. Upon beginning the assembly process, it soon became quite apparent that this cover is quite flimsy. The engineering of the product leaves much to be desired, and key points in the frame should have come with additional lateral bracing of some sort to ensure a sturdier structure. I had intended to do this on my own at some point, but as you can see from the photos, my intentions were not realized prior to the structure collapsing on my boat. Even if you live in a mild climate, I still would not recommend this product. Aside from its inherent flimsiness, the use of too many and too small roof panels makes it difficult to assemble a cover that doesn't leak. If you have an item of much value that you want to provide some protection from the elements for, do yourself a favor and pay more to get a structure that will do the job. In my case, I would have been better off with no cover than with this under engineered and poorly designed carport. ... show more

In my opinion I would have been happier at $1200 for what it is, not complaining except the fact some panels did not line up and be ready to cut the corners off so no one gets hurt, not a big deal with good metal shears. Strength is there wish I bought one more length.

It was not a simple task to put this thing together, by any means. The manual that was sent was for a cabinet, so I had to print the correct one. My brother can fix/build anything and this was a challenge for him. But it's up now and I love my tiny carport. Barely long enough for my Dodge Challenger. ... show more
