Description

You don't tiptoe into the world of monster trucks. You come in swinging. And the ARRMA QUAKE 223S BLX 2WD? It's your first punch — and it hits like a freight train made of thunder. Right out of the box, the QUAKE brings everything you want in a brushless monster truck: ready-to-run simplicity, attitude that won't shut up, built ARRMA tough to take the hits, and the kind of raw power that only gets meaner as you do. It's 2S affordable and 3S capable, so you can start smart and send harder as your skills grow. No extra upgrades. No need to swap trucks. Just throttle up, hang on, and let the ground feel the aftershock. ARRMA created the 223S series for new brushless bashers who aren't here to play it safe. With the QUAKE 223S BLX, you can drop in a 2S LiPo and tear it up at 35+ MPH — already fast enough to outpace the competition. Then, when you're ready to unleash full beast mode, slap in a 3S pack and you're launching past 50 MPH like a bottle rocket strapped to a boulder. Worried about getting in over your head? Don't be. The included Spektrum SLT2 radio features a built-in throttle limiter that lets you tame the tremors. With the flick of a switch, set your top speed to 50%, 75%, or 100% — so whether you're teaching the next generation or just building up confidence, you can keep things under control until you're ready to unleash the chaos. And when the dirt gets slick or the pavement throws curveballs, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) has your back. Integrated into the QUAKE's Spektrum electronics, DSC helps correct your steering input in real time, giving you more traction, more control, and a whole lot less crashing. Choose from multiple levels of assistance or turn it off completely once you're driving like a legend. This beast is built to bash anywhere. Off-road. Parking lots. Dirt tracks. Open fields. Heck, we wouldn't blame you for sending it down your neighbor's mulch pile (just don't say we told you to). Its wide stance and long-arm suspension give it a planted feel that carves through corners and flies straight and true. Perfect for new drivers, but wild enough for seasoned senders. Under the body, the QUAKE is every bit ARRMA. Oil-filled shocks, metal-geared differentials, and a rugged composite chassis mean it's built for carnage and keeps coming back for more. Factory-installed Spektrum electronics are waterproof, so the fun doesn't stop when the mud starts flying. And the high-grip dBoots tires, mounted on tough-as-nails wheels, are ready to claw through any terrain in your path. Crowning this beast is a brand-new monster truck body, with a bold new face that'll be a cornerstone character in ARRMA's future lineup. With molded details and battle-ready trim, the QUAKE doesn't just look the part — it lives it. If you're ready to get loud, go fast, and make the ground shake, the 1/10 scale ARRMA QUAKE 223S BLX 2WD is your ticket to the action. Just add your battery and charger — and prepare to send shockwaves. In The Box Needed to Complete 1/10 QUAKE 223S DSC 2WD RTR Brushless Monster Truck Features: You want options? QUAKE delivers 'em on a silver platter of horsepower. This beast doesn't make you choose between tame and insane — it gives you both. Start with a 2S LiPo and blow past the competition at 35+ MPH. Feeling brave? Strap in a 3S pack and blast into 50+ MPH territory like a monster truck on a warpath. And thanks to the Spektrum SLT2 radio's built-in throttle limiter, you can dial it down 'til you're ready to unleash full chaos. Worried about sending it too hard too soon? Don't sweat it. QUAKE's got your back with Spektrum's Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Whether you're ripping on slick blacktop or loose gravel, DSC auto-corrects your steering to keep you in command. Four selectable modes give you the grip, control, and confidence to learn the ropes before going full savage. Master the monster. Then shut it off and show the world what you've got. The QUAKE's got guts — and they're built to brawl. Its factory-assembled, metal-gear differential sends power from the beastly Spektrum 3660 4000Kv brushless motor straight to the rear wheels, ready to churn dirt, shred terrain, and chew up everything in its path. Sealed and protected, this drivetrain isn't scared of carnage — it craves it. The SLT2 radio is your personal monster-taming remote. Whether you're tearing it up on 2S or lighting it up on 3S, the throttle limiting feature lets you choose how wild your ride gets — 50%, 75%, or full send. It's like a leash for a wild animal... until you decide to let it go. Bonus: four AA batteries are included, because we don't do half-sends. Rain? Mud? Puddles of unknown origin? Bring it on. The QUAKE's Spektrum electronics are waterproof and ready to roll through the rough stuff. The 2-in-1 45A ESC/receiver unit and S681 metal-geared digital servo aren't afraid to get dirty — they were born for it. (Refer to the manual for waterproofing specifics, because even monsters have limits.) Pop. Drop. Roll. Battery swaps on the QUAKE are fast, simple, and body-free. Just hit the latches, drop in your pack, and you're back on the throttle before your friends finish re-taping their Velcro. No more fumbling. No more excuses. The QUAKE's composite chassis is all backbone, no nonsense. It's built tough, sheds dirt like a champ, and keeps things lightweight so more power goes to the wheels and not into hauling around dead weight. You get durability without the drag. Just how Nitro likes it. Built to bounce and blast. QUAKE's all-terrain, oil-filled coilover shocks soak up landings like a pro wrestler takes chair shots. Got uneven ground? Dial in your ride height and gain the clearance you need to send it clean — no scraping, no slowing down. The QUAKE introduces a bold, battle-ready look that's here to stay — a cornerstone character with molded detail and that patented “get out of my way” stance. Clipless body retention means no pins to lose, and the battery swaps without taking it off.

  • I gave it 5 stars because I can’t give it 6!
Color: Green
The quake is an absolute beast! I have about 15 different RC cars and this is right at the top of my most favored cars. This is absolutely the most durable for sure. I have been bashing this truck for about a month. And have not had a single breakage of any kind. As far as I’m concerned if you are jumping and running your RC cars pretty hard (not abusing them) you are going to have breakages eventually. I mostly run high output 2s lipos because the 3s are just bonkers in this thing. Speed runs are fun on 3s but for general bashing and jumping in dirt and grass fields with big dirt jumps. 2s is plenty powerful and I can easily get 10’ jumps and backflips. As is normal, I have landed many jumps poorly and have many impacts directly on the shell with zero damage aside from some scratches. This is a first. Most of my shells I need to tape the inside to reinforce it, not this one. The clips under the body are super simple and very secure. Just make sure you push them in hard til you feel it catch. This is the one trick I have that I just let my grandkids go wild with and don’t worry about them reducing it to a pile of parts. It’s crazy fast, it’s durable, and it is an absolute blast! This is fantastic for a beginner, but even the most advanced RC driver will have no regrets picking this up! ... show more

  • REALLY FAST REALLY WORTH THE MONEY
Color: Red
Awesome truck although I only used it twice before the front suspension shattered on me when I hit the curb but to be fair, it was -25° outside here in Boston. I didn’t know very cold weather makes plastic brittle now that it’s been a year I know better than to bring my cars outside in the cold without spraying them down with WD-40 first let it absorb 24 hours. Something about WD-40 makes the plastic a little bit more flexible and still tough.🤷🏻♂️ although I’m talking about the chassis and any of the plastic stock parts whatever I could wipe down.. this RC truck has a lot of power. I love it though. I can’t wait till I fix it. ... show more

  • Awesome 2WD Brushless Monster Truck
Color: Green
Got this Arrma Quake to try Arrma for the first time after being a Traxxas owner for over a decade and I love this truck! Out of the box setup is way better than a comparable 2WD Traxxas Stampede and it's cheaper and tougher. The handling is also very nice for a 2WD monster truck. Low voltage cutoff kicks in a little early compared to other RC's I've owned but otherwise the truck is a blast to drive. ... show more

  • Worth the money, insanely good hobby grade RC.
Color: Red
Absolutely a blast. Very fun, solid, stable, and worth it. After trying the Omni Terminator, this really is the better pick, even with 2WD. Better electronics IMO, and build quality. Very easy to work on. Only issue for me currently is the clipless body system, which sometimes comes undone, but i'm sure it's an easy workaround / fix. Love it! ... show more

  • Very fun and awesome rc car
Color: Purple
Very fun rear wheel drive RC. It is a lot more stable than I thought possible being RWD monster truck. This thing is insanely fast and pops wheelies at 50/75 easily and is crazy at 100%. The only reason for 4 stars is the steering servo broke so easily but I’m not sure if that’s a QC issue or user error ... show more

  • Go Ahead (It Aint Easy Being Green)
Color: Green
This truck is a present and future classic. You know you want it, hit the button. You've read the articles and reviews, watched the YT videos. You're probably on this listing nail-biting the purchase, wondering how your life may change if you buy this truck. Well, sorry I don't know about that. What I do know is this thing is endless fun and mine hasn't broken (yet, and I've tried a little). For this style of vehicle I don't think you can go wrong with the Arrma Quake. So, I know you want to buy the purple, everyone wants the purple.. Consider buying another color though. It's much easier to pick out your truck at the park when everyone is smashing into trees and dogs because they can't tell which Quake they're controlling. 5 stars: Everything, try red even. ... show more
