    • Wish the pots were bigger...
...as I am going to be using this a lot, but the product is top-notch. I am familiar enough with using gels that I had no issues, but a small leaflet for those who've never used gel, or even watched a video on their use would need to know a few things if they didn't read the store page before buying. One, you need a nail lamp to cure it. The tiny one-finger lamps from most newbie kits are sufficient wattage to cure them. Two, you need 91% isopropyl alcohol as a slip solution so your brush doesn't stick to it(and don't have it near the lamp or you'll need pure acetone to remove the hardened gel). Three, do not have the gel on your skin when you cure it, it burns, and worse, you can develop allergies to all gels. So, actual review. The brush is a decent quality, with a nice tool to both help place charms as well as dot polish for nail art. The pots were sealed well, and the gel itself has little to no odoyr, is quite viscous, thick enough that you don't have to worry about it running and your charms moving after placement. I also used a bit to make a jelly polish with one of their regular gel polishes, and it was beautiful (don't sleep on Modelones polishes, they're STUNNING). I love that their products all seem to be no-wipe, as forgetting to wipe it and having everything stick to your nails(especially in sweater weather) is a pain. Used it as a touch-up top coat for a nail I whacked earlier, and it filled the dent and cured shiny, which was a plus. The crystal and charm selection was a nice touch, but the thin wire ones keep getting caught in the wheel, so I had to put them in a little acrylic pot I had so I could turn the wheel to select all the others. All-in-all a stellar set of products with good value. Will definitely buy again when I run out. ... show more

this was super helpful for putting on my own charms on my nails and they held pretty well. it wasn’t the strongest, but i totally get it. it was great for the price honestly. i loved the little charms that also came with it although i bought it just for the gel, i liked having that extra add-on. one problem i had was the gel leaking out of the container, im not sure if i stored it wrong, but it was super messy at the end of the day, and no matter how hard i would screw the top on, it never felt like it closed. so worth the price though :) love it ... show more

This product is an entire steal for $5.99 (this was the cost when I purchased it). Are the pots of glue small? Yes. Are they half plastic? Yes. But a little goes a LONG way. The wheel of rhinestones and gems alone were worth at least $5.99 in my opinion (to all the people complaining that they "aren't good" or "cheap" - what did you expect - heirloom quality gemstones? These are for nail art. CHILL). The brush head seems like good quality and is nice and soft without having any wild hairs sticking/poking out. People that are having issues with leaking/how to prevent it: according to other listings, this can be prevented by opening the pot by digging a hole in the center of the foil instead of removing the foil entirely. I have not yet used the adhesive as it only just got delivered today (I was so impressed by the gems/nail decorations that I had to write a review immediately!) - I will update my review based on the adhesive's performance. UPDATE: Excuse my strange nail pose as I never planned to share this photo but thought it might be helpful as part of this review. I used the glue gel to stick on some gold studs and they did not budge. In fact, the studs never came off! I had to remove the nails before it happened so I would say this stuff is pretty solid and I will continue to use and buy it. FYI, the gold studs I used in the photo of my nails did not come with this kit; I bought the studs from iGel Beauty. ... show more

This did not come with instructions so just tried figuring it out for myself. Got a little of the glue on the brush and tried putting it on the rhinestone. Glue got on the tweezers and the rhinestone was temporarily stuck. Ended up using my dip liquid to adhere the rhinestone. There also wasn't any instruction on how to clean the brush so now I have a brush that is stiff after only one use.
