I have been doing my nails for 3+ years, and have always had an issue with retention. ModelOnes is the best brand that I have found to help with that. I use their glue, tips, dips, dehydrator. All of it. This product was different at first, as it was my first time using a solid glue. But BOY, does she HOLD! I need a new lamp, the one that I have isn’t strong enough to cure properly so it takes longer than usual to get it to cure completely. I am hard on my nails. I am a wife, mom, dog groomer, and work on the computer daily. This glue has held up so well. I went sledding in the snow with my kids, ice skating, cooked dinner, tied and untied shoes, gave my kids baths, washed dishes and clothes, disassembled and reassembled my washing machine. And they are still going strong after all of that a week after application. I love that it isn’t stringy or sticky. It doesn’t stick to your skin, it doesn’t have a strong smell, and a little goes a LONG way. The jar was bigger than I expected and will likely last a long while. If your nails typically burn when you cure them due to them being thin; get this. My nails are very thin, and my brush on glue can burn sometimes on the weaker areas of my nails. This glue is comfortable and doesn’t feel heavy (if that makes sense). It is clear in color, and cures clear as well, so use with clear tips really gives you a lot of options for any color style that you may be going for. Once you get the hang of applying it; it’s really easy/quick to use. ❤️

This glue is THE glue. I normally can't keep nails on more than a day or two. This stuff? I've had my nails on 3 days, through showering, washing dishes, and washing a dog. It does take time to figure out how it works, and how to use it correctly, but once you do it works beautifully. It's not sticky, and very workable. Smells very strong though, so have a window open.

Love love love it!!! It made my Gel X process so much easier and faster. The nails last over two weeks if prepped and applied correctly. They're easy to manage and remove. I highly recommend it, especially if you're just starting out with nail extensions.

I was hopeful with this nail glue, but was less than impressed. I purchased for personal use. I do my own nails. I have been doing my own nails for some time now and have all of the things necessary. I used this glue for the first time with my current set of nails that I have on and I did not skip any prep steps--- cuticles, buffing, dehydrated, primed. When it was time to glue. My nails kept pulling away from my natural nail creating lots of bubbles. Nothing like other solid nail glues that I have tried. Solid nail glue should securely form to your nail plate and stay in place- just needing to cleanup edge overflow. Cleaning up the edge overflow with this glue was a mess. So difficult to work with. Even with using less glue, I did not see any improvement. I cured for 99 seconds in my LED lamp one finger at a time and then one more time with my whole hand. I had two nails come off the next day and a third nail a few days after!!! I put them back on with liquid nail glue. I hope I can figure out some tips/ tricks with this glue, but as of right now I will not purchase again. In my opinion the only pro this glue has is the size.

I’ve been doing my own gel nails for about three months now, and I had high hopes for this thick gel glue. Unfortunately, I’m giving it 3 stars because, while the application had its pros, the actual hold just didn’t meet expectations and most of my nails didn’t last more than 1–2 days before popping off. Previously, I was using a thicker brush-on gel glue (liquid style), but it would always cure cloudy no matter what technique I tried. That made clear/glass nails nearly impossible to pull off cleanly. It also overflowed easily and felt inconsistent in wear, usually lasting me only 1.5 to 2 weeks. So, I decided to switch to a thicker, moldable gel glue in hopes of easier application and a longer-lasting set. I assumed this would offer better control and a stronger bond ideally lasting a full 21 days or more. I prepped my nails properly: cuticle cleanup, buffing, dehydrating, etc., and applied everything on clear gel tips. Here’s what I found: • Texture & Feel: The gel glue had a strange waxy or rubbery texture. I expected something tackier (like reusable tack tape), but it was slippery. It tended to slide around on both my natural and fake nails, which made it difficult to get a clean, centered placement. • Clean-Up: Once cured, cleanup was easy. But trying to clean up before curing (as advised) caused the nail to pop back up. When that happened, it disrupted the seal and created a slippery film over the nail, making re-adhering difficult. • Curing & Hardness: I cured it fully with a strong UV light and clear nails, so there shouldn’t have been any issues with light penetration. While it did harden, it never got truly rock-solid; it remained somewhat flexible and rubbery, which might be by design, but it felt odd for something meant to bond tips. • Performance: The most frustrating part was how quickly the nails began popping off, some within 24 to 48 hours. Oddly enough, the glue did stay bonded well to my natural nails, just not the fake gel tips. That’s especially strange since gel-on-gel should bond better. • Other Notes: I did use a gel base coat on my natural nails before applying the glue, which may explain the good adhesion there. I’m considering trying a base coat on the fake nails next time to see if it helps. Overall, I don’t think this product is bad, just maybe a bit finicky. I’m not giving up on it yet, I’m going to try another set soon and experiment with a few changes to my technique. But as of now, I can’t recommend it for anyone looking for a strong, long-lasting bond out of the box.
