    • Great RC car, crazy speed and power
The Typhon is an outstanding RC truck for its price and overall quality. The speed and power are absolutely incredible for its compact size, seriously impressive. It also handles really well and stays remarkably stable, with the DSC making a big difference in control. The clipless body system is super convenient and quick to use, and the chassis does a great job protecting the electronics from dirt and debris. Even after some serious bashing, the interior stays surprisingly clean. The one upgrade I highly recommend right away is replacing the stock servo saver. I have 3 Grom and all of them broke. Swapping to the aluminum Hot Racing servo saver completely solved the problem, zero issues since then. Overall, fantastic truck out of the box, with just that one smart upgrade needed to make it even more reliable. ... show more

This was a great purchase good on 2s and super fast on 3s. It’s a great road car haven’t tried it out on the grass yet but should do fine!

This little guy is tough as nails! Handling and speed are great out of the box, and it can take a beating. Taking jump after jump and just coming back for more.

It is incredibly fast for its size and handles great. it is as fast as some of my larger vehicles. It is so good that I am going to buy the mojave grom next.

I'm not sure what this car is meant for but it got me interested in RC racing. "Basher" seems a bit far fetched... I bought 2 of the same Typhon BLX 223s and: The first broke a steering saver after 2 laps around Camarillo local track in southern California. I hit a barrier and that seemed to do it. The 2nd I gave a shot bc I thought I may have had a quality defect. This one, I ripped accross Perris Fairgrounds "The Dirt" complex and put it through its paces. I managed to brake the rear diff dog bone housing and the dog bone went missing. After a few hard laps. It held up pretty good but that track is meant for 1/8sc machines. Great product to get back into rc but not sure if I'd call it a basher. Wish it had steel under plate like it's older brother. Giving a 4 star because it got me back into RC ;) Now, 30yo, having experienced RC in the late 2000's as a kid, this thing rips for the pric ... show more

This car absolutely rips. Runs really well and is a great pirce. I have already spnt countless hours playing with this as well as my son. For the price of what ypu pay you cant get any better in my opinion. With the battery that is included is has about 20-25mins of run time. Looking for something to withstand hard play this is what your looking for. ... show more

    • Absolutely a blast, but 3s at full speed takes some skill to keep the tires on the ground.
What a beast! It’s super fast even on the 2s battery, and honestly good luck finding a 3s right now. They are out of stock almost everywhere. I did manage to get an adaptor and run a 3s , but it’s honestly for the mist advanced drivers or have a wide open parking lot with nothing to hit. It’s so fast, for its size, that’s it’s extremely hard to keep on the ground. I really am I enjoying this new phase of RC where the smaller cars are getting faster, instead of the cars just getting bigger and bigger. This RC is a blast to drive, and who cares ifs it’s small and looks like a toy. No one thinks it’s a toy when they see it flying down the street at 50mph. ... show more
