Holds up pretty well, a little deep for how light duty it is. Wouldn't recommend putting anything towards the edge or hanging over.

The product arrived safe and sound. Note that this doesn't come with brackets or screws (I wished they'd say that in the description as it's misleading.) If you plan on buying this product, I suggest you buy the necessary materials. Overall, the style is very modern and is to my liking.

I used my own mounting bolts because I have an old house with plaster walls, but it was fairly easy to install. There were some small dings on corners of shelf that I painted white so they aren’t as noticeable. It is a hollow particle board shelf with a solid metal mounting system. I wouldn’t put a bowling ball on it, but a few trinkets, books, and kids toys…..it works. ... show more

Firstly the photos don't give enough depth as to the thickness of this board. This thing is huge. I can't imagine anyone using it as a shelf unless they have a ton of wall space. This shelf looks like something that can be used to create a floating stairwell, that's how thick it is. The dimensions says it's about 2 inch wide and I guess that didn't compute properly in my head because two inches doesn't sound big but good Lord. I will definitely be returning. It seems sturdy enough although the hardware doesn't look like it would be sufficient but I won't be mounting it so I don't know for sure. ... show more

Looks great just can't put anything too heavy not because of the mounting but because the shelf is a little soft. But otherwise great holds xl pod container, xl bounce box, spray stain remover, and xl scent brads no problem. Does not feel safe to hold small jug even without any other items
