Being new into this hobby I have nothing bad to say about this product. Very durable and well built. I’ve had it do cartwheels multiple times and it always gets back after it. Very fun and easy to run.

Absolutely junk, tons of YouTube hype. But that is all. 3 battery discharges before wheel bearings fell apart. Was pretty happy after replacing the wheel bearings. 1 more battery discharges and the differential bearings got so hot the melted the plastic housing that remains them. It is just an rc cars. But you'd think it would last more 5 battery cycles without needing new parts.

I'm comparing this to the original Typhon 3S (red/black) which I absolutely love. Nice upgrades: - quick release canopy is amazing - color schemes are great - integrated stability control is nice Downgrades: - smaller battery compartment - 80A (down from 100A) 2-in-1 ESC with *no throttle input* and integrated Spektrum receiver This ESC has no throttle cable and there is no way to control the throttle or power your own receiver. On virtually every other ESC out there, you will see a battery connector and a combined throttle in/BEC out cable. That throttle cable would typically connect to and power your receiver, and the receiver would control the throttle through the same cable. Not here. Instead you get a Spektrum receiver epoxied inside the ESC which completely locks you into the Spektrum ecosystem. The only way to control the throttle is to bind to the integrated Spektrum receiver with a compatible radio. I have nothing against Spektrum but I do not use their radios. I now have to spend over $100 for a different ESC just to use my own non-Spektrum radio. ARRMA, please stop doing this. Keep the ESC and the receiver/stability control separate, or at a minimum provide a throttle cable that bypasses the internal Spektrum receiver. The marketing material on this product needs to be clearer: will only function with Spektrum-compatible radios.

I LOVE ARRMA but I am so disappointed with this car maybe it was a defect but driving a stock 3s Typhon my spur gear shouldn't have broken in 6 pieces and my front diff locked ip
