This is one of my favorite rc I own, I upgraded it with a brushless set up and it is way more fun and so much fun. It handles great and takes a beating without breaking, I plan on getting another one for my grandson to drive. One of the downsides is that when you're driving in rocky areas they get stuck in between the steering linkage, I have to clear the linkage every few minutes so I ordered the cover for it. I'm writing this review because I was concerned the brushed motor wouldn't fast enough or fun. If you are a novice or buying this for a child, do not fear because this truck RIPS! I've had several novice type RC cars ($200-$300 range) over the years and this one is my favorite. We love it and I actually would not want it to be any faster (at this time). My son is 8 and can easily control it: drifting, hitting a 4' wide jump, not blowing it up by hitting a curb. The battery isn't that bad either IMO. Fast for a brushed truck battery life is fairly short with nimh. Servo motor is junk and stripped plastic gears off first time out. Other than that truck is holding up well.My seven year old drives it quite well this is his first hobby grade rc car.

SUPER bad truck. The steering and the shocks broke right away. You can only drive for 20 minutes and it takes 12hrs to charge! You probably shouldn't waste your money on this.

Changed ESC setting to LiPo and use 2s LiPo battery and this thing goes for a long time. Truck is lots of fun with family. Parts have been super easy to get access to due to Arrma brand. I also have a 3s Senton and you can’t use all the throttle on short tracks so this 2s can hang right with the 3s.

My biggest dislike about this product is the battery. The battery connector is so specific to the type of battery manufacturer, that it is not universal. So I cannot go and buy a higher mah battery. I HAVE to buy the same battery the car comes with. This forces the user to upgrade the car to get better battery life. Traxxas allows a universal connector, as does Hypergo. I don’t know if I’ll return the car based on this or not, but thought it would be good to share for others. Also battery life is garbage. 15 minutes without reaching top speeds for more than a few seconds. Steering is great and it is a stable platform for reaching higher speeds, but not without after market parts. ... show more
