  • Works with Spectrum
What can i say. It works with spectrum just fine. All you need to do is provide the device's MAC address to them so they can activate it on their end. Currently with the 300Mbps service, i get about 350.

  • Works well with my xfinity
It has taken a day to register it with xfinity but it works well.

  • Works perfectly with Comcast/Xfinity
I was able to activate this modem using the Xfinity phone app - very easy. After about two months I had no Internet signal and had to reset the modem. I don't know if the outage was a Comcast or modem issue, but the reset solved the problem.

  • Is a XFinity Supported Device
got it the other day....just tried to link with XFinity ISP. My account recognises it but claims it an unsupported device. Cannot get internet with this Modem & InFinity. UPDATE: typical, XFinity finally fixed it's mess up and this modem does work.

  • Dependable
As we have just purchased this arris model, I cannot speak much to its performance other than it was easy to install and offers great signal. Beyond that our previous router was also an arris and had absolutely no issues for almost 3 years. I believe I get the same out of this new model and I’m more than happy to give it a shot. ... show more

  • Works as designed, not as advertised
Like most computer equipment, buying used or refurbished is the way to go since nearly all returns are because products are difficult to set up and with enough patience with your ISP, you can expect about half of promised performance. You’re stuck needing the patience of a saint if using with Comcast and the Arris 6190 advertised for up to 1.4 Gbps is going to get half that on your best day. My old Arris 6183, likewise, sold as good for up to 900 Mbps might see 400 Mbps on your best day and no, DOCSIS 3.1 will be likewise, over promised and not ready to sell for speeds advertised in a real world. I spent most of two days with Comcast for this and 3 unrelated issues that should have taken under an hour, so sold my stock in “T” and spin off “WBD”, to buy “AMZN” who is the beneficiary of the industry cluster-duck. Good luck with your networking. ... show more

  • Doesn't work with cox gigablast
Sure it's compatible with Cox but not their gigablast speed of 900Mbps. Only 500Mbps.
