There have been a number of in-home renovations recently, and I’ve noticed that although I dust and vacuum my bedroom weekly, there’s still so much dust, pollen (from keeping the windows open during nice weather) and pet dander that appear daily. It makes perfect sense why I have been waking up multiple times in the middle of the night coughing with a dry throat. This air purifier is exactly what I was looking for to help resolve this problem, so I can get better sleep. It stands 12.9” tall and is sturdy, but not too heavy. It weighs in at 5 lbs, so it can be moved from one area to another with ease, so long as there is a plug within a 73.25” (or a little over 6 ft) distance. It’s a bright white color and looks very sleek, to match the style of the bedroom. It comes with an instruction manual which was very helpful for set up and continues to be useful if any questions arise. Even without the instruction manual, the air purifier is self-explanatory. Once plugged in and placed in the ideal location, there is an on/off switch in the middle of the display located on the top of the air purifier. There are several other functional symbols (there’s a legend within the instruction manual) located around the circumference of the top display which include: timer (2, 4, or 8 hours), sleep mode, fan speed (low, medium or high), display lock, display light, and check filter indicator light. I find the constant peaceful white noise sound that the air purifier produces to be extremely relaxing. Since I must have white noise in order to sleep, this product is ideal- not only does it help clean the air, it produces white noise while on (varying degrees of sound based on fan speed). Since using this air purifier, I havent woken up in the middle of the night with a cough or dry throat and the white noise leads to the best nights of sleep! ... show more

I appreciate that it has an excellent quality air filter and rated level met qualification for Real True HEPA Air Filter. I used it in combination with my Cold water air humidifier and was pleased that the moisture in the air did not at all impact the performance of my new Arovec Air Purifier.
