Was easy to install. People say it's a two person job. Honestly for counter tops it's easier for one person to lay it and a second to help with corners USE A BLOW DRYER! Especially on corners that are rounded. Or if you cut a sliver too short just heat it up and gently scrape it together and no more sliver Also overlapping the pieces I thought would be gross and super noticeable,nope. Not the case. But this paper is thin enough to see marks under it so make sure to scrub down any imperfections. But if u can't, no worries this design is very forgiving and blends well. I like that it’s a light grey rather than white with veins. Was able to cover with a UV resistant epoxy. Works well with a sponge brush. But you need to throw the sponge out after use.

This product is great. Nice and thick and has held up well. I have had this contact paper on my kitchen counters for about 2 months now and it wipes off easily and has not stained.

This marble contact paper is great to work with once you know how to use it. Be warned that it is not opaque so make sure that the surface on which you are putting it is a solid color (preferably white). A major tip is to apply the paper following the direction of the roll. If you go perpendicularly to the way it is rolled, you are more likely to end up with air pockets. An added bonus is that included with the contact paper itself is a ruler and a mini box knife that greatly aid in its application. ... show more

I grew up in military housing and we always used contact paper for our counter tops to spice them up a little. The best part about contact paper is how easy it is to remove and it doesn't leave a residue, even after years and years of being adhered. I was searching for white or grey paper and wanted to find a good deal. We needed a lot so when I found this really big roll priced so well, I knew it would work out. This paper didn't disappoint. We had turquoise counter tops in our new home and can't afford a full kitchen remodel yet. But that's ok because I remembered our old military trick! I chose this paper for the price and the positive reviews. I knew from seeing the negative reviews that some people haven't worked with this stuff as extensively as others. If you're used to using contact paper to cover up surfaces, this paper will not be a challenge for you. My husband, who's never really used it before, even got the gist after the first few strips went down. Our countertops are beautiful now! Before and after shows the result. The paper wasn't see-through - it completely covered the blue. It was removable whenever we made a mistake and went down nice and smooth with no need for a squeegee. We used our hands to smooth it out. I added some backsplash stickers we also found on Amazon to complete the look, and we added caulking around the sink to seal it from moisture.
