Kind of hardens into an enamel that dust and whatever you drive on doesn’t stick to the tire unless you drive right away after you just applied it. It lasts a while. I've used a lot of tire shine products from all different manufacturers my husband is actually an automotive supply salesman of 30 years!! I'm telling you this is by far the best tire shine I've ever used ...and I've used MANY! One issue is I noticed it stayed on the street and made the road slick afterwards so I washed the street off so one of our neighborhood "walkers" didn't fall down!
