The product was as described and worked well removing the brake dust. I purchased the smaller spray bottle to test, but I would recommend the larger size, as I used about 1/3 of the bottle to clean four tires. Per the instructions you need to apply, and then I waited about 5 minutes and used a tire scrubbing brush to get the interior of the rim. I rinsed and then used a heavier duty microfiber cloth to remove any excess dirt. It’s a bit pricy but works well. ... show more

This is the first wheel cleaner that does what it claims. I have used Sonax on painted, alloys, and other types of wheels and no negative results occurred. Light pressure from a flag tipped,soft bristled brush, and the grime is easily removed. The price was a drawback for me, however the time it saves makes it worth it. The odor is pleasing, and not overpowering. It is obviously yellow, however upon contact, the color changes to different shades of purple, depending on the degree of contaminates on the wheel. Careful on overspray to unpainted plastic - wheel wells have some spots now. The product soaks in, rinse, and scrub what it didn't get. It didn't remove the really baked on stuff in the hard to reach corners, but with basically no effort by wheels are cleanest they've ever been. 4 stars as I was hoping by magic it would take off the super baked on long term stuff. ... show more
