This is my second time purchasing this tire and wheel cleaner. This time I decided to read the directions and I discovered I was using it incorrectly. With the first bottle, it was spraying the cleaner onto the dry tires and wheels, and then going back and rinsing them. This worked pretty well. After reading the directions when I received the second bottle, I discovered that the tires and wheels should be sprayed first with water, and then sprayed with the cleaner. Alright, let's talk about Armor All Extreme Wheel and Tire Cleaner. I recently put this stuff to the test, and here's my honest take: The Good: * Foaming Action: The "extreme" part definitely comes into play with the foaming action. It's thick and clings well to the wheel and tire surfaces, which gives you the feeling that it's really getting in there and breaking down the grime. * Noticeable Cleaning Power: I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lifted brake dust and road grime. On moderately dirty wheels, it did a solid job of making them look significantly cleaner with minimal scrubbing. * Ease of Use: The spray nozzle is straightforward, and the instructions are clear. You spray it on, let it sit for a bit, and then rinse it off. Simple enough. * Tire Cleaning: It did a decent job of cleaning the tires as well, removing that dull, brownish film that can accumulate. The Not-So-Good: * Stubborn Brake Dust: While it handled moderate dirt well, for wheels with really baked-on, heavy brake dust, it required quite a bit more agitation with a brush to get everything completely clean. It wasn't a "spray and rinse" miracle for the tough stuff. * Smell: The chemical scent is quite strong. Works better than I could've expected. I thought my wheels were just permanently stained, and this cleaned it all right off. Here's a before and after photo for reference. Took maybe 10 minutes per wheel with a soft bristle brush.

Needed a product for removing road grime and old chain grease off my motorcycle rims. This made quick work of a very thick coat of grime on the rims that didn't come off even with car wash soap. Especially for the price this stuff is a great buy. Will definitely continue to use.
