I've wanted an expansion band for years and years. Finally got this Armitron and love the style. Fit well out of the box and it looks very classy in person. Keeps accurate time and overall I just love it. Mostly. Last night I fell asleep with it on and this morning I woke up itching badly and took the watch off and had a raised, bumpy rash around my wrist. It's been 3 hours since and it's still there, but is going away finally. I had worn in the prior day without any issues so I'm surprised this happened. (Also worth noting that I have never had a reaction with any other watch bands in my almost 50 years.) Disappointing. I'll try it again once my wrist is back to normal and hope it works well for me. It's a nice watch. Looks like the product description and keeps time. Don't try to self service it unless you have a watch press to press the back on. Once removed, it will be unlikely you get it back on by hand. The hands glow in the dark.

The media could not be loaded. I just wanted to add that it's water resistant up to 165 ft, it is Japanese movement which is nice, and it's a stainless steel backing. Again prefer a different kind of band but overall this watch is pretty decent being an Armitron even for their inexpensive one a nice watch. I like the Japanese movement and the fact that it's water resistance up 165 ft. I recommend it if you're looking for a nice inexpensive watch with Japanese movement big face easy to set and big numbers to see clearly on a nice designed watch. ... show more

My son wanted a casual gold watch since all his other watches are silver. Since we already like and have Armitron watches I went with this Armitron gold expansion watch, and it didn't fail me. It has a sleek and simple stainless steel watch band and for once he didn't have to adjust the links for it to fit. He really liked the fact that he could just slip it on and wear it without having to make any adjustments and that it doesn't pinch his skin. Since my son has worn glasses since he was 3 years old the feature that he says he likes the most is the black face of the watch with the gold hands and outer minute track since it makes it easier for him to read the time. I like that this watch is water resistant, so I won't get in trouble if I accidentally get it wet. This is a pretty good watch worth its value, and I recommend you will like it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Armitron does it again, another great looking watch that is easy to read, fits well and no link adjustments required. I'll explain later. The two tone look of the Armitron 20/5568 watch is simple, but elegant. Thin is in. This watch isn't super bulky like the fashion watches have become. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of thick, big faced watches, and they work for those watches, but this is more demure, even though it is a man's watch. That does not mean there are not some really neat features to it though. First, I want to clear up what the title means. The bracelet of this watch is called a China band, this is straight from the product description on the back on the box, and I cannot explain that enough and I did not make it up. It fits like your typical stretch band from other manufacturer's, but Armitron calls theirs a China band. I haven't had this watch for long, and I have only worn it for a few hours around the house, but this band is really comfortable. It doesn't pinch or pull hairs. I also like this band since I didn't have to alter the links. I normally have to remove a couple links to get a nice fitting bracelet to for my smaller wrists. The struggle is real. With this watch none of that was necessary. Score one for the little wristed. Second, well I guess there is really just the one really neat feature to this watch. But, I do stand by this is a good looking, simple and yet elegant watch. You can wear it everyday to work, whether it's at the office or in the warehouse. You can dress it up with a nice polo or button down on those date night's. You can wear it like a watch or with whatever you feel you want to wear it with, you bought it. Enjoy ... show more

This watch is a nice, basic analog timepiece. It is very simple and classic in design. The gold is shiny and there is good contrast in the watch face, so it is easy to tell the time. The band is solid and doesn't pinch or grab onto arm hairs. I'm a woman with a 7" wrist, and the band was ever-so-slightly large on me. It didn't really have an opportunity to do its elastic thing since my wrist was smaller than the band was, but just by a mere fraction. I've always loved elastic bands like this, where you can just pull the watch on and off without fumbling with a buckle. Sometimes you want a more casual watch that still looks dressy enough to wear all day. This Armitron watch is exactly that for me. The silver or stainless look of the band and frame contrasts nicely with the rich blue tone of the face and means that I can wear it casually and during light chores but can also wear it in more elevated settings. Keeps time well and is easy to set, as I'd expect from Armitron, and the price was difficult to argue with. Good value all around for a recognizable brand name, without the worries of what would be costly damage to fancier watches if anything were to happen to it. ... show more
