The stool looks amazing, at least if you don't look too close. The finish on the legs appears to be painted on? Its mostly convincing unless you really look close. You can't expect the real thing at this price point, but it's something to note. The chrome metal loop for your feet is made of very heavy duty metal. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it weighed. I have no doubt that it can handle it's job for decades. The chrome finish is very nice. It doesn't feel cheap. The faux leather seat is made of thick material that should last a while, but it does have a slightly rubbery feel. It looks great though and is comfortable to sit on. The padding is adequate. Assembly was.... a challenge. I'm a handy guy. I usually dismiss reviews that mention things not lining up as user error. People tend to tighten things down before getting it all lined up. In the case of this stool however, no amount of loosening the screws was going to make things align. The problem is that the legs come down on an angle (duh), but the holes for the footrest are straight up and down. Which means you're trying to put an angled bolt into a decidedly NOT angled hole. The trick was to attach the footrest bolts *first* but leave them very loose. Like almost all the way loose. Only then should you attach the plate that holds the legs together. Expect to have to push the legs uncomfortably hard to get the holes aligned. Once all the bolts are started, you can tighten everything down. If you have wobbles, there are adjusters on the bottom of the legs that can be tightened or loosened to remove the wobble. From there, attaching the spinner plate and the seat are trivial. Just keep everything loose till you line it up. All in all, I think it's a great stool for the price. It looks like it costs 3 times as much and feels like it will last years. I'll update this review if the two I bought ever wear out or have problems. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My 13-year-old assembled the chair, so, it’s easy enough to do. It was a little wobbly at first but we tweaked it, and it was fine. Comfortable to sit on and seemingly sturdy enough to last. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t tall enough for the height of our bar height counters. We realized we needed to go with an extra tall seat (32”-34”), which are offered on Amazon so we’re going to look for another option. The height of the seat of this barstool is 30 inches. All that being said, it’s a beautiful chair and swivels easily. I love the gray pu leather juxtaposed with the wood mid century style. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

I read the good reviews and decided to buy 5 of them for my new kitchen island (see picture). They are solid, stable, and very comfortable. The minimalist style with faux leather is beautiful, particularly in cream color. This color seems to be out of stock all the time. Fortunately, my waiting time was only ten days. Once they had them in stock, I received all five stools in two days. The packaging is excellent. I do have the following information for the seller. I almost returned these stools because it was impossible to assemble them following the instruction provided. I decided to reverse Step 1 and Step 2, and it took me less than 15 minutes to assemble each of them, very easy and fast. The seller might want to revise the instruction if they do not want to receive too many returns. Hope this review is also helpful to future buyers of this product. Highly recommended !! ... show more

Great chairs! Very comfortable and reliable. We love the cushioning. It took us a little longer than expected to assemble. We figured out you can move the circle to put in the screws. It was super helpful after we found out.

Bought after home remodel, created a great room, for the island (5'x7'). Started with two to see if we really liked them. The initial assembly was a bit challenging, holding the legs together for the first step, but after putting 4 of them together you learn a few things. We liked the first two, so we bought two more. The wooden legs and faux leather seating with back are very nice. The seat is a bit narrow, so I had to adjust my weight to find the right distribution, but overall, they are comfortable. They are pretty sturdy as well...handle my weight easily (225#). They use hex screws, so may need to check them periodically for tightness...so far, so good. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these counter stools, put the first one together in less than 10 minutes, easy peasy, went forth with the second stool, when I got to the next to the last instruction to tighten all bolts, one bolt would not tighten on the footrest, since this is where stress point will be, I contacted the company , stated the issue, after having to submit multiple documentation, they tell me, sorry, since it was purchased on Amazon, they will not do anything to help. Was told contact Amazon to return or exchange it. Well now, both were out of box, wrappings & put together. Take it apart? Ok, but when I go to do an exchange, I have to take it myself (fairly large, heavy box, I'm female, weigh in at 102lbs.)to UPS or request a UPS pick up,, except if I do that, it is next day, stool won't come for 5 days, and I have to wrap it all back up. Should have been a simple swap out foot rest. Poor customer service!!!!!! ... show more
