We had a demo unit for trade shows to highlight our product. Our equipment is normally powered with natural gas but we are not able to do it at tradeshows due to fire codes. As a result, our demo unit look rather dull and lifeless. We decided to boost it by adding some lights. We were able to snake this light tape into our demo unit around 4 sides. We had wanted to cut the light to fit but the adapters we bought didn't work. So, instead, we simply snaked the light strip into the demo unit and hid the extra behind some metal. These are a good brightness for a room that you want lighting in however be aware that these can not be ran together with another strip as the included led driver only provides enough wattage for the 16 ft strip in the kit

Used for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. They have been installed for a few weeks now and I really like them. I have them hooked up to a kasa dimmer and (so far, knock on wood) it works flawlessly. Can't comment on longevity yet but I'm hopeful. The transformer does get hotter then expected but the location I chose is open air so I don't foresee any issues but will keep an eye on it. I saw some reviews that said they weren't bright enough but these are actually way brighter then I was expecting which I was happy about. I like having more light then I need and dimming it down. I run these on 60% most of the time and it's perfect. I wiped the area I was installing them with rubbing alcohol and then wiped that area again with a clean paper towel and made sure the area was totally dried. They stuck very well. Even had to reposition a section and it's still sticking well. I did turn them on for a few minutes prior to installing so the glue would soften up some and promote adhesion. Then once installed I left them on for an hour or 2 and went back every so often and applied pressure everywhere to help set the glue. Highly recommend for the price. The transformer power cord comes installed but is easily removed and trimmed to length which I appreciated. ... show more

I bought these because the driver could be directly wired and ran through a smart dimmer. Did have to purchase additional wiring and connectors but was very easy to install and run wiring. Adhesive is strong and I have not had any issues with them coming off. Very professional look for a fraction of the cost. Only problem I can say I ran into which is probably true to all peel and stick is the adhesive is on the contacts where you have to cut. Had to clean up the adhesive to get a good connection for the connectors. But not a big deal. Would recommend. ... show more
